Good people don’t want to be cops anymore, so they have to take what they can get.

Unsurprising to me. I got stopped, pulled out of my truck, and frisked for having no front plate on my car in Texas.
My truck is registered in NM. NM doesn’t issue front plates. This was west Texas. He had to know that as every third car is from NM, especially on the weekend.
Sat me in the curb cuffed as he ran my license as my entire church drove by.
I’m a clean cut middle aged guy, driving a new, clean, properly registered truck, wearing a suit at the time (went to Mass), with a short haircut and no tats or weirdness going on.
No ticket after his supervisor arrived.
How many times can a cop make the claim that he was in fear for his own life before he’s fired or assigned to desk duty?
This guy’s got nothing on the acorn shooter.

Lost respect for cops in general a long time ago.
Was 22, just back from RVN driving the Corvetter I had recently bought. Cop pulls me over and while he was checking license and reg, his partner reaches in the passenger window and opens the glove compartment to riffle around. No request or anything.
Want to guess what would have happened had I objected?
I believe now open carry is legal in florida? Police need to make certain a weapon is being brandished.
He should go on desk duty for a certain period of time.
