Authorities detained a man at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday evening after he attempted to enter the venue while armed with a tactical knife, at least one firearm, and inactive law enforcement credentials. The stadium is scheduled to host the memorial service for assassinated conservative icon Charlie Kirk on Sunday morning.
The massive memorial service is expected to draw over 100,000 attendees, including President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and other members of the cabinet.
The suspect, whose identity has not been released at this time, reportedly claimed affiliation with law enforcement and exhibited suspicious behavior that prompted action from security personnel.
“The individual is not a member of authorized law enforcement working the event and is currently in custody,” the Secret Service said in a statement to the Washington Post. “The U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement are investigating the circumstances as to why he was at the location.”

I was packing the other night at a Charlie Kirk vigil. These gatherings make it too easy for the moonbat mad trannies who want us dead. Charlie’s funeral will be irresistible.

I am wondering how many will cause a ruckus inside the funeral. Not worried about security at all. Just think some folks are going to do their best to spoil the event.
I wonder what exactly the suspicious behavior was the suspect was exhibiting. Maybe he was there to plant a bomb.
C’mon man! He was worried about Charlie Kirk’s widow and children, also Trump and Vances safety, so he was gonna work the crowd to keep them. Yeah that’s the ticket, he was all about altruism.

I woke up a couple times in the night worrying about that very thing — Vance and Trump both there together.
Overall, it’s a very target-rich event with both of those venues chock full of conservatives, some who are powerful now, and thousands of up-and-coming leaders.
Put DataRepublican and Laura Loomer on it.
Yet, to NOT hold these vigils and celebrations of Charlie Kirk’s life would give our enemies exactly what they want.
People attending these events know they are in mortal danger from the insane, crazed left, but they go anyway. Our very presence, gathering and show of strength is one the most important things we can do to fight the evil.

Not FAKE law enforcement credentials, but inactive law enforcement credentials.
Why does this obviously former law enforcement member have any such credentials at all?

I simply can't believe that this person didn't know what they were doing wasn't a crime.

The clowns in Phoenix are really on the ball. They are charging the boy with “trespassing”. I’ll bet if they found him in a little sniper’s nest up in the rafters, they’d probably charge him with camping without a permit.
I think it’s wonderful that a memorial service of such magnitude is being held for Charlie.
But I’m also going to heave a big sigh of relief when it’s over.
Having all of those leaders in one place like that and all of the crazy liberals we all know are running around out there makes me a little nervous.

Drive by shooting in Portland last night. I almost fast fwd the news because, well, Portland. They showed a scene and it looked like it was a gathering at a vigil that was the target. News is not divulging what type of vigil but looked like a Charlie Kirk vigil.
From what I have heard secret service is exclusively controlling the main floor and celebs who have their own security must leave them at the gate.
The rest of the venue is local police and alphabet agencies.
I’m with you Sacajawea - the concern has caused me to go back and review the 25th amendment about Presidential succession. It appears to me that the designated survivor will be Doug Burgum. Maybe AG Bondi if she is not attending. I heard this morning that Sec Hegseth will be in attendance. I had thought that, depending on Bondi, Hegseth would be the next man up as 6th in line for succession. Since he is attending, it appears to be Bondi or Burgum. I am trying to remember the lineage of King Charles - where does Harry land?
