Democrats are hell-bent on digging in on the wrong side of every 80-20 or even 99-1 issue affecting the American people. Karoline Leavitt is delivering a strong message on one of those issues - crime in big, blue cities such as Washington, D.C., Chicago, or New York City.
That message is intended for those who genuinely believe in a resistance party that assures them everything is fine and crime is not a problem.
"Nothing to see here. Please disperse," as Leslie Nielsen famously said in the movie "The Naked Gun."
The White House press secretary addressed those misinformed souls directly today.
"This is our message to Americans in Democrat-run cities nationwide: decline is a choice. You don't have to live in constant fear of being robbed, raped, or murdered," she declared. "Your leaders are lying to you — and they have been failing you for decades."

Please stick with this message, Democrats.
“Putting people in prison is racist, unholy and doesn’t lower violent crime rates.”
I’ve been in a prison. My charges were dropped.
New Orleans cops just decided to screw with me,
I had mouthed off to them after I had a
few too many beers.
They knew charges would be dropped.
So I got a week in the “OLD!” New Orleans
Parish prison, before the Judge
set me free. No charges, all dismissed.
I was defending myself from a man trying
to rob me.
I was in with people doing time for
raping. robbing, and killing people.
People in prison were beaten, raped, and robbed.
But at least these criminals weren’t beating
raping, and robbing the general public.
Unless a death had occurred the Prison
cops didn’t care.
Prisons have rules. Don’t break the
inmate rules!
Guards won’t help you.
I am sorry you went through that wringer.
Thank you for that thought!!!!!!!!!!!
I had just turned 18.
Thankfully I was in the military,
during Vietnam, so they cut me some
slack.
Not very much, but some.
If I were young, handsome, single, rich and had a pleasing personality, Karoline would be mine!
“ The poll cited shows that those who indicate crime is a “major problem” cross all political spectrums: 96 percent of Republicans, 72 percent of Independents, and even a whopping 68 percent of Democrats.
Even beyond that, a solid 53 percent agree with the Trump approach to combat that “major problem.”
Why does a poll about crime have to be political? Because it is that 53% number is suspect. How heavily was it weighted to democrat responses? I suspect the raw number is much higher.
