Susan Monarez was effectively fired from her role as CDC Director because she reportedly clashed with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over his decisions to overhaul the agency’s vaccine policy and dismantle a key advisory panel. This resulted in her abrupt departure after just weeks in the position, during a period of significant internal turmoil and workforce reductions at the CDC
Asked AI.
She wasn’t Pres. Trump’s first choice.
FWIW, I don’t think we need a CDC.
Defund it.
Trump’s CDC pick confirmed—but her pro-vaccine stance may clash with RFK Jr.’s agenda

It will be interesting to see. She was a controversial pick but Kennedy really wanted her.

A closer look at the CDC director’s history and connections reveal that her government career is closely linked to the intersections of re-branded eugenics, the militarization of healthcare and the expansion of the bio surveillance
Here’s my take. Something serious from her past has surfaced. Someone went digging through old emails or social media posts and there was a big, stinking turdunken. Either that, or she was shown to have an unacceptable financial arrangement with someone like Pfizer. Perhaps, get our XYZ approved, and we’ll pay off your house. Drug got approved, house got paid off.
Does somebody have a binder full of pictures of women like this? She looks like the woman from Cracker Barrel.
It may not be a popular view, but I believe that we do need a CDC. The last few years have been political and awkward at best. However, historically the CDC has played a very important role in disease control.
Good. Fire more folks
Blame her appointment on RINO Big Pharma lobbyist Senator Cassidy of Louisiana! He has been a bigger hindrance to MAHA than Senators Murkowski and Collins!
I wanted Dave Weldon MD (RFK’s first pick.) Weldon is NOT anti-vax, he remains a practicing internist who regularly vaccinates his patients, but he did acknowledge and testify about the concerns of parents over childhood vaccine safety in the 90s.
I am not from Louisiana nor have I ever called a congressional office before, but I called Senator Cassidy’s office…both the one in Louisiana and in DC to express my frustration over his MAHA interference.
“At the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Monarez served as deputy assistant secretary for strategy and data analytics, overseeing research portfolios for the Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.”
With the 51-47 vote in favor of Monarez, she becomes the first CDC director to pass through Senate confirmation under a 2023 law.
More interesting would be Susie Wiles getting her hired for her pharma lobbying clients to start with.
She will not be missed.
Future proves the past? Who knows maybe she was trusted to continue some corruption and now going to be exposed?
