from the Middle East and Africa.

We, as critics of mass immigration and multiculturalism, must understand why individualism, honesty, guilt, and deferring gratification are particular to the West.

Helpfully, authors like Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Ed Husain can explain.

You do not understand how these people think. They will not produce the same civilisation as us.

They will not produce the same civilisation as us.

But they'll be really really good at tearing our civilization apart and destroying it - and us.

From my 81 years of experience, all cultures struggle with the balance between individualism and collectivism. And it is a balance.

A few had the balance. Most didn’t. The Christian Reformation did more than any other single thing to tip the scales in favor of individualism. To adopt the belief in personal salvation and the need to personally accept that salvation was a big change from the previous culture of “I was born with a Christian culture and no personal decision is needed.”

One impact of Christian Evangelism and Missionaries was spreading that concept of a personal decision as opposed to the group decision.

“We, as critics of mass immigration and multiculturalism, must understand why individualism, honesty, guilt, and deferring gratification are particular to the West.”

ABSOLUTELY - it wasn’t ‘resources’ or farming that took us to where we are, it was some gene mutation in a relative handful of people, probably millions of years ago (or at least many thousands of years ago), that created a race of people whose tendency in the above (and I’ll add “non-corrupt”) slightly outweighed the animalistic urges of other human groups and thus allowed us, and only us, to accomplish what we achieved.

Go back to a tribal mix of people ‘more representative’ of the rest of the world, and you go back to state of the world before the gene mutation. This had to be known when they passed the Immigration Act of 1965, which has resulted in the US turning into the Star Wars bar scene, the question is now whether the Democrats really wanted the outcome that’s in store for us.

“Only westerners are honest? Nonsense.”

PLENTY of corrupt Westerners, but only Western society has shown the ability of their non-corrupt people to prevail over them.

The United States has the only formal, written constitution on the planet that protects the citizenry from its government.

Yes, the culture that produced that and abides by its tenets is superior.

Over to you, rest of the planet.

The richest country in the world, Singapore is an example all countries would do well to emulate. More millionaires than any country based on population size and near zero unemployment in Singapore. In my honest opinion 2 factors stand out why Singapore is successful.
#1 automatic death penalty for drug peddlers and #2 no unemployment benefits or food stamps for able bodied adults in working age range.

He is spot on. Watch carefully and pay attention to references he gives. The absolute best I’ve seen on explaining the muslim mindset.

Piracy is the default mode, Western Civ is the battle against piracy. q.v., private property.

The analysis is unnecessary. The results are documented by the actual”civilizations” where now in the 21st century, muslims still live in caves, stone people to death for minor offenses and contribute almost nothing to invention, science, the arts, or personal well being.

Corruption exists on a sliding scale, I think. One unique feature of western culture is that corruption exists most certainly at the top, but not so much at the bottom. Your mayor is probably making underhanded deals but the clerk at DMV probably isn’t.

We have a ton of corruption, but we at least know it’s corruption.
