While the raid was happening, a tweet appeared on Bolton’s X page. Interestingly, the post did not concern the raid at all but focused on the Ukraine-Russia war.
The tweet was sent at 7:32 AM ET. As TGP readers know, the FBI entered Bolton’s Maryland home about half an hour earlier at 7 A.M ET.
Bolton stated that Russia’s ultimate goal was to make Ukraine entirely a part of Russia and said the peace talks would prove futile. Moreover, he said that Trump would only hold further meetings because he wants the Nobel Peace Prize rather than a sincere desire for an end to the bloodshed.
“Russia has not changed its goal: drag Ukraine into a new Russian Empire. Moscow has demanded that Ukraine cede territory it already holds and the remainder of Donetsk, which it has been unable to conquer,” Bolton wrote. “Zelensky will never do so.”
“Meanwhile, meetings will continue because Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize, but I don’t see these talks making any progress.”

If you do not show a willingness to negotiate the other side will see no reason to stop fighting. That is fine if you are in a position to completely destroy the enemy, but this is not one of those situations.

He is not nessicarily wrong in that post as far as it goes. The question then becomes how much is Rusdia willing to endure expend in that goal and how far is Ukraine and it’s Western suppliers willing to go to push the cost past what Russia can endure? Risk of nuclear escalation remains omnipresent.
Doesn’t Bolton know that if trump gets the Nobel it’ll be because he was nominated by Brennan and her rottenness?

President Trump yanked his security clearance and security clearance months ago. He is mad at ORANGE MAN BAD. It’s all he knows.
Bolton and his ilk project with everything they say. They were dead-set on crushing Russia and incorporating it and Ukraine into their despotism, same as here in the US and in Europe. Seriously, everything makes so much more sense when you realize that whatever is happening in Ukraine, the legacy media and Deep State just state the exact opposite of reality, whether it is casualty rates, whose economy is suffering the most, who has the more legitimate claim to democracy and popular support, who is ramping up production, who is using blocking units to keep troops from deserting, who is bombing civilians deliberately, who is the most corrupt and so on.
Bolton no longer has a security clearance.
He has no clue what Trump wants.

He is doing pretty well for a puppet this war is going on 4 years now and had discovered the world Russia sucks at war. Meanwhile the rest of the world moves on. Russia is now probably 2 generations of weapon technology behind. Bogged down while India China and the US develop AI and quantum and start to benefit from them. Meanwhile putin is putting his population through the meat grinder. If it hasn’t happened already one day I the very near future he going to wake up to discover we can take out all his submarines whenever we choose and his nuclear triad is gone. I used to think putin was smart but he going to screw Russia so hard their next generation won’t even learn Cyrillic

Seems like anyone who lives by the Russians don't like them. Putin has been such a big asshole to most everyone during his tenure - having him bogged down in a proxy war he didn't have to fight keeps him from causing trouble elsewhere.
Meanwhile China is as it has been for a long time eyeing Siberia and pretending to be interested in Taiwan. It wouldn't surprise me if Russia doesn't exist or is much smaller (population and geography) in 20 years.
