China’s New ‘Stealth Air Force’ Is Built for a War Against America
National Security Journal ^ | 8/20/2025 | Sébastien Roblin

China’s stealth air force has exploded from a small, elite capability into a massive and rapidly growing fleet designed to challenge American air power. With hundreds of J-20s in service, the new J-35 entering production, and three different sixth-generation prototypes already flying, Beijing’s ambition is clear. This formidable force, supported by a growing fleet of new tankers and AWACS aircraft, is specifically tailored to counter the U.S. in the Pacific by hunting key support assets and penetrating defenses.

The technological, economic, and military advantages held by the USA far surpass what China has to offer. So go ahead Xi, make our day!!

Yes. Yes we do.

You post one of these articles every day. You have never posted a story referencing air superiority of US forces.

Why is that? Are you the publisher of that blog?

A war with China will be an economic war, which has already been started. They are already “ winning”.

From AI:
“ Overview of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a global development strategy launched by China in 2013. It aims to enhance regional connectivity and embrace a brighter economic future through infrastructure investments and trade partnerships. The initiative is often referred to as the “New Silk Road,” drawing inspiration from the ancient trade routes that connected China to Europe and beyond.

Key Components of the BRI
Infrastructure Development

-Silk Road Economic Belt: Overland routes connecting China to Europe through Central Asia, West Asia, and the Middle East.
-21st Century Maritime Silk Road: A maritime network linking China to major ports in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
-Digital Silk Road: Focuses on enhancing digital connectivity and technology cooperation among participating countries.

Economic Goals.
-Promote economic development in participating countries.
-Facilitate trade and investment flows, creating a more interconnected global economy.
-Address infrastructure deficits in developing regions, particularly in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Most of these stories are aimed at room-temperature IQ Republican Congressman to stimulate demand for ruinously-expensive manned aircraft programs.

China has no military objectives outside China and its territorial waters. Never has, and never will. It will only attack Taiwan if Taiwan declares independence, guess what, the US will not intervene if that happens.

Our greatest advantage? Our tanks, ships and planes will be manned by Americans. The Chinese versions will be manned by Chinamen. Add to that the Chinese “tofu dregs” construction techniques. . . . No contest. When it comes to China, we have far more to fear from biological warfare and infrastructure interference (including EMP) than from kinetic warfare. And don’t forget the hundreds of thousands of communist Chinese already in this country, burrowing in, spying, stealing.

He’s a blog pimp.

Several complaints have been sent, but somehow he survives.

Don’t bet on it. A lot of high level service personnel said the same thing about our last opponent in a large scale Pacific conflict. Then we encountered the Zero fighter and the Long Lance torpedo and our perspective changed a bit.

Winner, winner!

What is this crazed notion that any large country attempting to provide for it’s own defense is cause for the US to create some overwhelming ability to crush them?

That brings the vision that the US in not a shining city on a hill, but an oppressive empire of pirates.

You beat me to it. And the difference this time is that China has the capacity to out produce us and a population many times bigger to draw combatants from. The war against Japan was a war of attrition that Japan could not win in the long run. China can.

You don’t have to read them. I like to see all three sides of the coin ( yes there are three sides-the edge or rim of the coin is a surface). That said, I agree that that US military supremacy is fading, there are many valid points for my observation.

The cold hard fact is our “supremacy ” has never been tested in actual warfare….and keep in mind we have not won a war since 1945….out played by goat herders is a good example.

…you forgot to mention a war with China requires us to have the abilities to defend an 8,000 mile supply line. That isn’t happening without heavy losses.

…..America ( and the West) has no stomach ( or understanding) in a war of attrition, as we are witnessing. China and Russia does.

You see, it’s the death by a thousand cuts. You guys post these articles that are always negative about the US supremacy and while on their own they mean nothing it’s like a grain of sand falling and hitting a piece of iron. One grain means nothing. But the long time impact will cause the iron to eventually fail.

You guys feign surprise when someone challenges you.

It’s typical misinformation crap. Anyone with two brain cells can see what you are doing.

And then you make statements about not “winning a war” since 1945. And of course, China just racks up win after win. LOL. They couldn’t beat Vietnam either. And Russia has turned a third grade army in Ukraine into the most experienced and powerful army in Europe when it should have taken a week to roll them up.

Tell your handlers that your blog pimping is lame and you need better tactics. Or go back to Reddit where the children believe your “America-last” tripe.

The big leaks were under Obama. They were catastrophic and to a large extent enabled by the Obama Admin.

...and keep in mind we have not won a war since 1945…

And just what do you call the Highway of Death in Gulf War I?

Resorting to a subjective definition such as what constitutes "won a war" is typically a leftist trope, unworthy of FreeRepublic.

We lost Iraq and Afghanistan on very, very unfavorable terms. If you call our last twenty years of forever wars winning, you are nuts.
