Study: Most ‘Global Warming’ Caused by Reduction of Pollution

A groundbreaking new analysis has emerged, challenging the mainstream narrative on “global warming” and throwing a wrench in the radical climate agenda.

According to researchers from the University of Exeter, the biggest factor driving global warming since 2001 isn’t the rise in carbon dioxide (CO2) levels, but rather a reduction in sulfur dioxide (SO2) pollution.

The revelation has major implications for the “global warming” debate and for the “environmental” policies that push for costly regulations and collectivist government control.

The researchers found that the decline in SO2 emissions, which have been linked to industrial and maritime pollution, has resulted in darker clouds, causing less solar radiation to be reflected into space.

This means that the Earth is absorbing more heat, leading to “global warming.”

The study, presented at the UK’s Exeter Climate Conference, raises questions about the narrative that CO2 is the primary driver of “climate change” and suggests that a reduction in pollution, rather than an increase in CO2, is behind the warming trend.

Makes total sense. Global cooling events have occurred after every major volcanic eruption
which has sent ash into the upper atmosphere. The catastrophe of the year 535, and Krakatoa in 1883.

In related news, Greta Thunberg demands that the entire Exeter faculty be fired and then sent to a re-education camp.

“They gotta get their minds right,” says Greta.

🤔

Burn a fiberglass tub or boat or something, those create great smudge fires. Tires too.

I’ve seen a stack of used tires burning. Not much for the firemen to do but let it burn out.

Some people you just can't reach. So you gotta help them get their minds right.

This finding might be "new data" and "new news" to SlayNews, but it's actually been discussed for years. For example the reduction in SO2 from ocean-going vessels and the resulting warming of the oceans in those areas due to less reflective clouds.

Unfortunately, this news is not welcome to TPTB who don't give a rat's a$$ about the actual state of the world but are just interested in gaining power and control over it by the use of the CO2 narrative. So it gets suppressed.

I expect this report, like the earlier ones, will wither and die from willful neglect.

There has been previous research suggesting the same:

Svensmark and Calder covered this extensively in “The Cooling Stars.” The universe is tipped in favor of ice ages, NOT cooling. We’re surrounded by absolute zero nothingness. We should treasure the warmth, not be afraid of it.

This issue has been discussed at the "Watts Up With That" (#1 Climate Skeptic) website for at least two years.

Marine (ocean) cloud cover has diminished at exactly the same moment when certain types of ship fuel have been banned.

Cloud "color" is a new issue for me, however.

Before reading this post, I thought the primary issue was fewer clouds, not cloud color.

Actually what they are saying is that less sunlight escapes. More sunlight is absorbed by clouds, heating the clouds and thence the atmosphere. The sunlight was illuminating the clouds in either case (ever notice that distant clouds are white?) but when we had lotsa air pollution the sunlight would warm the clouds, now it just scatters and illuminates the dark side of the moon, and alpha centauri.

It’s still mostly nonsense, the land from which I type had the Laurentide ice sheet on it as areas were two miles thick or more. We are in the late Pleistocene era which fortunately is on the last years. This ice sheet was done melting forming the Great Lakes only 100 great grandmothers ago as the lakes are extremely young.

For those in Rio Linda like the MSM and those *seeking grants* that would be as recent as 10,000 years ago. Last I heard mankind has yet to contain our the Earth and Sun making our solar system static for which to measure for a millennia.

The taking of these modern-day thermometers temps would require millions of them and their locations is from the bottom of the oceans throughout the the layers of the atmosphere for millennia is another whole rant.

I have been very sceptical about the “Trust the science” belief. One wingnut scientist says the sky is blue, and another wingnut says it’s really grey, and another says the atmosphere has no color at all.
