Before I wrote about Second Amendment stuff most of the time, I wrote a lot about education. From Title IX abuse to woke administrators and teachers, I covered a lot. Advertisement
Then I came here and started writing about this, which is at least as important as reforming our educational system.
Yet I always knew there would be some opportunities to return to talking about colleges. After all, they're notoriously anti-gun, too, as we see from a situation in Maine.
A Christian student in a class apparently talked previously about finding Jesus. So far, so good, apparently.
Yet the student wanted to talk about the Second Amendment for her next assignment. The teacher's response, though, is just bonkers.

I know a great number of students who have attended and graduated from EMCC. The college has many excellent programs to train students for good paying jobs in the trades. Friends of ours bought the house that the students built.
But of course the student are required to take “liberal arts” courses such as English and History and many of the professors are what we expect on FR-leftwing moonbats. However, I suspect their influence on most of the students at that college is minimal.

Those backwater towns are strongly conservative- always have been, and those kids coming from there are solid citizens, not the whining gimmedat liberals that they are forced to deal with when they reach schools with their liberal proclivities. Imagine the kids, having to deal with the asinine liberal professors!

Jesus helped the Roman Centurian's servant, without any admonition for the Centurian to: "not pack heat."

Jesus said: If He needed to be protected, that protection would have been provided, not by man; and that night, those who used the sword to protect Him, would perish by the sword, for they would not be allowed to prevent what must be fulfilled.
"Live by the sword, die by the sword," has been used by bureaucrats in the church, and in government, and in academia, to disarm and force people into submission. And there are plenty of those bureaucrats who have no sense of preventing abortion, effectively by the sword.

MY daughter knew a HS teacher who taught in ME and was opposed to guns and tried pushing her agenda on the students.
It went over like a lead balloon. The students did not get her objections.
Jesus didn’t need to pack heat.
He’s God. One word took care of His enemies.
We don’t have that power. So we pack heat to protect ourselves and others.
At one point, Jesus DID tell His followers to arm up.
And two swords was enough.
People simply cannot be allowed to interject their ideological bias into their workplace .
This “professor “ is an emotional child and there is no reason to trust them with the important job of education.
