Former Biden Aide 'Can't Deny' Professionalism Of Iran Strikes
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

"Can't deny." Looks like CNN has fallen back on those words to cover those unfortunate situations where—much as commentators would like to diminish the accomplishments of the Trump administration or address inconvenient truths—pesky facts have made that impossible.

Thus it was that last month, commenting on the murder of two Israeli embassy staffers outside the DC Jewish museum, we caught CNN security analyst Juliette Kayyem, a former Obama DHS appointee, saying:

"We can't deny [that] the suspect said Free Palestine." Sorry, Juliette. It would have been ever so much better if he had yelled, "Jews will not replace us!"

The catchphrase was employed again on today's CNN This Morning. Discussing the US strikes on Iran, CNN commentator Sabrina Singh, a former deputy Pentagon press secretary for President Biden, said:

"I mean, you cannot deny the professionalism of our military when it came to this operation."

As much as they’d like to, CNN ‘can’t deny’ professionalism of Trump-ordered strikes.

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.

It was as near-perfect of a strike that could be done. Straight out of those military documentaries that always showed the US at its best militarily.

Libs no doubt hoping for a Jimmy Carteresque fiasco when he tried to rescue embassy hostages.

Like I wrote on here yesterday, soon they’ll be claiming that “Biden’s military” is responsible for the successful strike. They’re clearly working up to that.

Been monitoring CNN. Can't watch for very long without feeling icky.

Are they the only network with a reporter in Tehran? Whoever that guy is says he's been in contact with Iranian sources on the ground and they are claiming the attack on Qatar has been a success .

At the same time, they're running a banner at the bottom of the screen saying oil prices are up. I'm fairly sure prices are down.

Now there's a guy on who is saying that Israel had the situation well in hand and we did not to get involved.

Switching back to FOX. Feeling icky.

Understandable... I’d recommend a shower.

Gas prices in my hometown: unchanged.
Oil futures (Aug 25 delivery) currently down $5.15... and it appears that energy prices are down across the board after opening flat for the first half of the trading day.

Looks like a yawner on Wall Street.

I had the wife look up the price of West Texas Intermediate about the time you were making that post. I was driving her to an appointment, she had time. It was definitely down at that moment.

Hitting a washing machine from 30,000 feet with two 15 ton bombs is doing the impossible.

Where are the 900 pounds of Iranian uranium that was enriched to 67%? And what were three Chinese jumbo jets doing in Iran and why did that story get shoved down the memory hole?

How do you know the Chinese jumbo jets were actually there? Or that they were really Chinese, for that matter?

CNN really should think about returning to a news organization rather than a Leftist activist media organization

can't deny

This is just like how Harold Ford, Jr. on The Five always says he "doesn't disagree" with what's been said around the table.

Democrats can't bring themselves to say something positive about President Trump and Republicans. They have to hide behind twisted syntaxes like double negatives to say something.

A Double negative prevents Democrats from creating a soundbite that makes them say that they agree with something Trump did. Most people will just hear the word disagree and Will not understand the double negative. In some languages , the double negative does not even mean the positive like it does in English

“How do you know the Chinese jumbo jets were actually there.”

Fox Business,BBC, flight search by location and tail numbers. But it didn’t get a story? Even Democrats would find a way to blame Trump for it. But yet they didn’t.
