In a new report released by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, commonly known as CSIS, Project Director Heather Williams explains that the much-discussed GBU-57 might not be able to destroy the Iranian nuclear facility at Fordow.
Williams explains that the “GBU-57 has never been used in combat, but has been put through extensive testing; it is believed the United States has approximately 20 of the bombs available.”

It has been tested against reinforced concrete. The labs are under a couple hundred feet of rock.
It might take a couple bites at the apple to finish it.
That said, I imagine the first one would shake the centrifuges off their bases.
I wonder if the resulting radiation would leak out.
Okay, so let’s test 2 of them. Nobody will be able to dig that out, even if it doesn’t “work”.
i heard yesterday it would take two or three of them to do the job...
Then let Israel secure the sites and destroy them with explosives. Maybe then we can provide some security for UN observers to take tours of the sites.
Well if one doesn’t, more than one will, the current model of GBU 57 has deeper penetration and they can drop a second or third in the same hole as the first.
The MGPB would destroy Fordow.....but they do not want to destroy it.They want it intact, and do not want to spread radiation and poisonous fallout.
Israels elite commando forces will take it down and occupy it.They will use sleeping gas to neutralize any living being inside of the Fordow complex.
The entire Islamofascist Regime will be decapitated....all of them killed.
A new rebirth is coming for Iran.....and Iranian oil will be denied to China and to North Korea. Part of Iran’s oil profits will be used to rebuild Gaza, and other places that Iran and its proxies have destroyed.
Allahwahoo WHACKBAR !
The bunker buster scenario may be psychological ops to obfuscate what ultimately may be a spec operation involving teams blowing then entering the facility to inventory and identify the various components to determine countries of origin. This information will then be used against those countries to embarrass and drag them through the mud of international consternation. A second reason would be to prevent or limit radiation poisoning.
Could they siege the place? IOW, cut off all inroads for goods, electricity, reinforcements, etc.?
Does it matter if the Ayatollahs are removed?
Well, why not just be certain?
We have 20 of em.
Flight of 4 B-2s could drop 8 of them essentially in the same spot. Drop sequentially, separated by X seconds. They’ll get the job done.
Or all this talk could be a diversion until the Israelis walk in essentially unopposed.
What you said.
😉
How do people get in and out of Fordow? Deliver a bomb that way.
So what’s the point - If it wasn’t used in war before we shouldn’t use it at all? We never landed at Normandy either - maybe we shouldn’t have done it.

Well, it will create massive damage, at the very least.
I wonder how long they spent digging it to build it?
Helps that they have absolute air dominance over Iranian airspace.
And they do have Black Hawks and H-53s with in-flight refueling capability.
any troops at Fordow would be exposed to missile fire the same as the Israeli citizens are.
It would be a massacre.
Moving the goal posts. Sounds familiar.
