Buckle up. Leo was waiting in the wings at the feet of Bergoglio;
Pope’s think they are infallible. None of them are in or will see heaven. So I don’t think of them at all.
It doesn’t matter who the pope is. That structure of religion is NOT found in the Bible. It is all man-made.
I agree that women are ruled by their emotions more than men are, and that men are more likely to think logically. Some men, however, are persuaded to think with their emotions and become master manipulators.
It’s too early to tell how this new Pope will guide the Church.
I do agree, that truth comes from God, not the Church.
The Venerable Bishop Sheen came to our city many years ago, around 1960.My parents took me with them to listen to him speak. I was too young to remember anything he said, of course, but my ONE CLEAR MEMORY of that day was, as he was leaving, my Dad pushed through the crowd holding me, and as he passed by, the Bishop layer his hand upon my head. I have never forgotten that moment. I have watched some of his videos on YouTube- His voice today is sorely missed, and sorely needed.
Mohammed was the Anti-Christ. Wherever his followers are in power the percecution of Christians is pressed until none remain.
I wish he’d gone with Pope Bob I.
The pope, any pope is just a man, a sinner just like you and me. No holier than thou.
Odds are, by looking at past popes, (John Paul an exception) many were EVIL.
The Catholic Church is the epitome of “organized religion”.
False doctrines, pedophile leaders, enriching itself rather than helping the needy.
You don’t need no pope/cardinal/bishop/priest/pastor/minister/Reverend.
ALL you need is The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost (Spirit) and your bible. (original NIV is best)
