We were given a 7 name list of places that have accepted women with this condition in the past but we won’t know how that plays out until tomorrow. Please pray with me that one of these Rehab Centers will accept her. I have left instructions for the hospital Social Worker to expand the search up to 250 miles and I will find the money to pay for the trip. We are really in a tough spot. As I said please pray with us for a workable resolution. As to my Niece Diane – God heard our prayers. The doctors seem to have finally found the right approach to give Diane back her life. I just spoke to her about yesterday’s latest procedure and it was like talking to her a year ago. Thank you all for your prayers for Jane and me and Diane and please keep them coming.

I am guessing you are talking about Adriamycin. I was on it for childhood cancer. Make sure she is being seen by a good cardiologist who deals with the cardiotoxic effects of chemo.

Prayers up for you and the ladies. Having multiple family members in two
different hospitals at the same time is tough. Been there, done that.
About 28+ years ago both my mom in my dad were in two different hospitals
about 25 miles distant from each other. I was zooming back and forth
between there, home and occasionally finding time to go to work.
It was a crazy time. I got a traffic ticket during all of that zooming around.
But they both made it through their respective health difficulties okay.
And so did I, thank goodness!
I’ll be praying for y’all. Good luck!

If they put your wife on antibiotics, the lady infection may be the cause. I used to get a yeast infection every time I had to take an antibiotic. That was in my younger days. I'd call my gynecologist, and she prescribed a cream that you had to insert with a plunger that came with the cream. If it's a urinary tract infection or bladder infection, an antibiotic will eliminate that, but then again, she may develop a yeast infection as a result.
My youngest son, age 54 was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in 2019. They did two re-sections, took 99% of his colon, did two different types of chemo for six months and has been cancer free for going on six years now. He did not need a colostomy. While he was on the chemo he developed a blood clot in his lung, and had to give himself Heparin injections regularly until his chemo was completed. Blood clots can be a side effect of chemo.
He also suffers from Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and has just been put on a new medication called Camzyos which they said they have had good results with. The dosage will increase over time, and we have to go to Rochester, NY about every four weeks for Echocaridograms to make sure things are going as they should.

Is it possible to get home care? *Hospice* these days does not mean end of life care. I know someone who does hospice, and essentially it’s a home health aide during the day position for a woman with dementia.
