Imagine sitting in the press room following a debate in Montreal between the party leaders for the upcoming Parliamentary election in Canada and one of the "reporters" there starts throwing a BERSERK tantrum lasting over five minutes over the mere presence of a media group not owned by the government. Such was the case with Tantrum Boy aka Stuart Benson of the Hill Times who absolutely could not tolerate the mere presence in the press room of one of the few independent voices in Canada, Rebel News. And Tantrum Boy apparently RUINED it for all of them due to the scheduled post-debate media scrum with the candidates being cancelled due to "security concerns."
So WHO did the government controlled media get angry at? The out of control Tantrum Boy? Nope! They directed their ire at Ezra Levant of Rebel News, especially after he pointed out that the government controlled "journalists" attacking him worked for government funded "news" outlets. In Canada, the government funding of regime mouthpieces is even more open and blatant that it is down here in the States... at least until DOGE cut off most of their government funding.

Sheesh... that’s what I must have muttered a hundred times under my breath listening to Singh.
I agree that it is a fairly amazing area. I grew up in south-western Oregon, which is a distance second to Maine as a source of cranberries in the U.S., so the bogs are less novel to me than they should be.
