Which Lawfare lawyer will James Boasberg appoint to prosecute Judicial Branch criminal charges against Donald Trump?
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 4/16/25 | Sundance

Knowing their relationship, it would be highly likely for Boasberg to appoint former DOJ-NSD head Mary McCord as special Judicial Branch lead criminal prosecutor against Donald Trump and Pam Bondi as co-defendants.

McCord's co-counsel team would then bring in Norm Eisen, Barry Berke and Andrew Weissmann Esq.

Think I'm kidding? Watch.

This is precisely why I’ve been screaming for Blondi to get off her TV shows and a$$ and start indicting these Shadow State goons before they beginning indicting DJT and HER! Stupid worthless airhead.

I’m pretty sure Trump is no longer putting up with their games, the second it was filed he would simply issue a full pardon for himself and Bondi and be done with it.

Appointing prosecutors is an administrative function. Where does Boasberg get that authority?

The judge does not appoint a prosecutor. The DOJ does— and that organization is under the Attorney General. So if you are imploring Bondi to prosecute Boasberg... am all in!

Impeachment is not an answer. Prosecution of a Constitutionally unsound judge... certainly is. The prosecution of the major anal fissures should send a message to the many of the 243 minor flaming anal fissures. And, to Schumer as well, who can and should be removed from the Senate. So then they can say “it was all political”— and thus NOT Constitutional whatsoever.

Like heck! He’s put up with it for three months! Once the Boasberg investigations and prosecutions of Trump begin, any indictment or prosecution or even protest, AT THIS LATE point, will be sold and sold well as recrimination because Trump and Blondi are being prosecuted for THEIR crimes!

this would be my solution...

with all the fraud found, every time one of these judges act up, drop the hammer and arrest a democrat for fraud. not a single person can convince me they cant do this. not a single person can convince me it wouldn’t work El’Quicko!!!

A judge cannot appoint a prosecutor on his own. That is a pure executive branch function. If the judge tries, Trump will fire that prosecutor immediately, and raid their office.
He will then issue pardons to any potential target of that ersatz prosecutor.

Not happening. That would be as ludicrous as the judge appointing several police officers to go out and make arrests.

The judge himself stated in his opinion finding probable cause for contempt that if the admin doesn’t do what he wants (cough up more info) he would identify the specific individuals and refer to DOJ. If DOJ refuses to prosecute, he would then choose to appoint his own prosecutor.

I am not sure that is legal, but he seems to think it is.

+1 I also do not think a judge can appoint a prosecutor any more than he can appoint some cops to go out and make arrests on his behalf.

He Took It! No one will stand up to stop him. Thats been proven. Everyone one of those felons on Sundance’s list could have been, should have been under indictment today. If Blondi had done her her job everyone of those criminals would be mortgaging their houses to pay attorney fees to try to stay out jail. Rather, it’s 2017 all over again with Trump’s AG comatose asleep at the wheel.

he would identify the specific individuals and refer to DOJ. If DOJ refuses to prosecute, he would then choose to appoint his own prosecutor.

If he said that, he is going down hard. he does not have that authority. He will be prosecuted or impeached. And Trump will immediately pardon everyone he targeted.

It sounds like this judge is an internationalist who fancies himself like Baltasar Garzón in Spain who brings cases, decides them, etc all his own.
Not even the Supremes will back him up on that.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, “the rule of law” will save us all just like in the first term. You seem to forget the two aces Lawfare holds, Barrett and Roberts.

We’ll see. What is clear is that I bet there are 60 injunctions and orders against Trump by now. They seem to be coming in 1 or 2 a day. So there is a clear judicial insurrection. The Supreme court rarely overturns any of those rulings fully.

Something has got to give because this is for all the marbles. If the deep state, especially the democrats, ever gets back into power, they will be ruthless in retribution FAR exceeding their J6 and lawfare atrocity. In this fight, MAGA wins, or dies and goes to prison.

Obviously it doesn’t matter if it’s legal. He will appoint a prosecutor because no one will stop him.
