NEW: Jeb Boasberg cancelled today's scheduled hearing on preliminary injunction for the illegal Venezuelans covered by Alien Enemies Act but stunningly (or not) asks ACLU to file another motion next week explaining why DC is proper place to continue the lawsuit even after SCOTUS clearly said it is not.
As I said--this ain't over.

DOJ’s response would be a copy of the SC ruling
Until we get the Democrat party out of our Judicary, we face years of this political BS! We’ve already lived with years of it at the state level, only now we are starting to see its horrible effects at the Federal level, which has been happening for years. Can you spell EPA? We have seen the damage their Democrat party influence un checked have caused to our industrial base. An impartial judiciary would have shut them down after they basically performed and completed the job Nixon organized them to do.
Can you imagine the ACLU declining?
Audit this creep.
Why doesn’t he just write the motion himself. After all, when a judge does the plaintiff’s job of judge shopping for them, it only makes sense for him to be both judge and plaintiff.
I said Boasberg would look for someone to sue the Trump Admin , he should be removed
(Can you imagine the ACLU declining?)
The ACLU won’t decline. They’re judge shopping in Texas right now.
WOW. JUST. WOW!
Sorry in the interests of time I was quoting from my post on another thread relating to GP covering the same topic
Sure. Cases move forward in a measured way. When a case is about to close up it’s appropriate for the court to ask, essentially, “Are there still any loose ends that need to be dealt with?” That’s what Boasberg’s order is, and necessitated by the fact SCOTUS did not order the case dismissed or transferred to the Southern District of Texas. It’s merely pro forma. The SCOTUS ruling is definitive; he’s done and he won’t be making any more orders
Could this “judge” be charged with contempt for his defiance against the SCOTUS?
Its much easier to cause the chaos than fix it.
