* Global protests against Elon Musk escalate into vandalism, arson, and domestic terrorism, targeting Tesla showrooms.
* The FBI labels attacks on Tesla facilities as domestic terrorism, arresting suspects amid violent incidents.
* Protest organizers deny violence but face criticism for rhetoric fueling extremism.
* Environmental activists burn EVs, contradicting their past support for green technology.
* Pro-Trump counterprotests emerge as tensions rise ahead of planned demonstrations.
Elon Musk continues to be the focal point of a global protest movement that claims to oppose his influence over government policy but has increasingly devolved into vandalism, arson, and domestic terrorism. This Saturday, nearly 200 Tesla showrooms worldwide will face demonstrations organized under the banner of “Tesla Takedown,” a self-described grassroots campaign demanding accountability for Musk’s role in the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
While organizers insist their movement is non-violent, the FBI has launched a task force to investigate coordinated attacks on Tesla facilities, including Molotov cocktails, gunfire, and anti-Musk graffiti—acts the agency labels “domestic terrorism.”
The irony is incredible: the same left-wing activists who once championed Tesla for its green credentials are now burning its cars, polluting the environment, and endangering first responders. The hypocrisy exposes a movement unmoored from its principles, willing to embrace destruction when its ideological enemies refuse to comply.
A movement’s contradictions
Tesla Takedown organizers, like Bay Area activist Vickie Mueller Olvera, frame their protests as a righteous stand against Musk’s “hijacking” of democracy. “Nobody voted for this, and nobody voted for Elon,” Olvera told The Guardian. “He’s an unelected super-billionaire and he’s a thug.” Yet while Olvera’s rhetoric is heated, her group publicly condemns property destruction. The same cannot be said for the shadowy factions operating alongside them.
In recent weeks, Tesla facilities from Austin to Seattle have been firebombed, spray-painted with swastikas, and riddled with bullets. In Colorado, a woman allegedly torched multiple Teslas while scrawling “Nazi” on a dealership sign. In Massachusetts, seven charging stations were burned. Even individual Tesla owners report being harassed, their cars keyed or defaced. The FBI, now treating these attacks as domestic terrorism, arrested a suspect in Las Vegas this week after a showroom was targeted with Molotov cocktails.
Musk and Trump have seized on the violence to discredit the broader protest movement. “The real problem is not the crazy guy that firebombs a Tesla dealership,” Musk told Fox News. “It’s the people pushing the propaganda that caused that guy to do it.” Trump, meanwhile, has vowed to prosecute perpetrators under terrorism statutes.
Left’s green hypocrisy on full display
The most glaring contradiction lies in the environmental left’s sudden abandonment of Tesla—a company it once celebrated for pioneering electric vehicles (EVs). Now, instead of reducing emissions, activists are literally setting EVs ablaze, releasing toxins into the air and forcing firefighters to risk their lives.
Protest organizers dismiss the violence as the work of rogue actors. “We are a non-violent grassroots protest movement,” Tesla Takedown’s official statement reads. But critics argue the movement’s incendiary rhetoric—labeling Musk a “fascist” and Teslas “Swastikars”—fuels the extremism.
A tense weekend ahead
With tensions escalating, law enforcement is bracing for clashes. Pro-Trump “Tesla Shield” counter-protests are planned, and organizers like Terry Beck in New Jersey are mobilizing caravans to “support a Trump ally.” Meanwhile, anti-Tesla activists admit they fear vehicular attacks. “We’re pretty vulnerable,” said Adam Sheridan, a New Jersey organizer.
The FBI’s involvement suggests this is no ordinary protest movement. Whether Tesla Takedown can distance itself from the violence remains to be seen—but for now, the left’s embrace of eco-vandalism has exposed its moral bankruptcy. As Musk’s net worth tumbles and his cars burn, one thing is clear: the movement claiming to defend democracy is doing so by destroying the very institutions it claims to protect.
The “Tesla Takedown” protests reveal a left increasingly willing to abandon its principles for political vengeance. Once cheerleaders for green technology, activists now torch the very symbols of environmental progress—all while decrying the “fascism” of a man they once admired. The FBI’s crackdown may curb the violence, but the hypocrisy will linger long after the smoke clears.

Obviously they need armed Koreans on the roof.
Start putting the terrorists into Federal Prisons immediately
Soon should disguise the DNC building to look like a Tesla dealership
Elon must be right over the target.
Uh oh - someone lost their USAID shoe money...
“Torch a Tesla today!” War cry of a “green” terrorist who has no sense of irony about what is being called for.
The “Green New Deal” is revealed for the fraud it is. This is not about “saving the planet”, but rather the exertion of raw power and intimidation.
Does anyone have any clue as to how much pollution is poured into the air by the ignition of a Tesla battery pack?
Decarbonization is not a noble goal, or even necessary, in the greater scheme of things.
Firebombing Teslas prove it was never about Mommy Earth.
It was always about communism.
Watermelons: Green on the outside, red on the inside.
Would it be legal for Tesla dealerships to hire armed guards to shoot arsonists?
And where could I sign up?
“Nobody voted for this, and nobody voted for Elon,” Olvera told The Guardian.”
Actually 77,000,000 of us did vote for this you stupid slitch.

Wouldn’t the left howl and gnash their teeth if conservatives went to the protests disguised as liberals, with keys and gascans to key and burn the protestor’s vehicles while the protestors are busy keying and burning teslas
As much as I dislike electric being pushed by the government, I’m tempted to buy one today.
Go figure.
Just understand it’s the same Antifa, blm, occupy, no business as usual etc…communist organization.
Old school technology like M-60s and M-79 would work here quite well.
I live in the Albuquerque metro. The only Tesla dealer here is on Indian land at the Santa Ana Pueblo. Good luck with that.
Since they are used to not even getting a slap on the wrist, this is going to be a real wake-up call for the blue hairs and nose ring types
I’m not, agaisnt them if folks want to buy them, but do read about the massive upkeep costs first though. One fella was so outraged by the cost of the battery replacements in his newish ev that he protested by burning the ev rather than pay the outrageous cost of replacing the batteries. If I recall right, it was around $30,00 for the batteries alone. I’d also, look into how well or not they last parts-wise, ie, do they rattle apart after a few 10’s of 1000’s of miles? Or do they use premium parts that are built like a tank? (Although if one just wants one for say 5-10 years, then trade in, that wouldn’t matter so much)
Also, I’ve read early on that using air conditioning or heat can drain the batteries fairly quick, so that is a concern for longer trips- will just have to make sure to top up sooner on the trip. But for around town they should be fine.
Gotta look at the pros and cons just like anything really. They are zippy- great acceleration it is said. Quiet, fun- but I’ve known a coup,e of people who bought and returned them because they didn’t like how they drove- but perhaps that was because of the models and brands they bought. Our neighbor returned one, and a relative returned one- they hated how the cars rode. Maybe lease one before deciding?
I don’t know why, in a country with the rule of law, they would have to “brace” themselves?! Have the police or National Guard standing by. Make arrests, hand out wood shampoos.
Molotovs are deadly weapons of terror. Unless you are willing to use deadly force, call your insurance agent.
All of the folks out there who bought into the bad tech that is EVehicles, you are out of luck. Teslas are only the first.
