You wondered why they came to his speech at all, they would obviously rather go to a Hamas rally than a celebration of America. This was a giant speech with the optimism of Kennedy or Reagan who realized his primary job is Cheerleader in Chief and what a Presidential Masterpiece he gave.
The one thing he does to his enemies is makes them expose themselves as who they really are and they revealed their smallness to the entire world. It was the incredible shrinking Party after he pointed out no matter what he says to them they will never clap or smile, and they proved him right again.
He made them paint themselves as the supporters of Open Borders, Men in Women’s bathrooms/Sports, and More Waste and Fraud in Gummit. This was a speech celebrated red blooded Americans, cops, firefighters, and soldiers and the Dems looked like they were getting a colonoscopy. He could have given Pelosi the Medal of Freedom and they would have not lost their scowls.
He is the king of the one liner when he talked about closing the border and they heckled him then went on they claimed you would need new legislation when in reality all you needed was a new President. One of the funniest lines ever with perfect timing while the sourpusses pouted. America has a true leader it can trust completely.
The most important part of the speech was explaining to the American people there are going to be some hard times in the transition. This is something no politician would say since like the Dems response it is all rainbows and unicorns without saying anything. Of course, there is inflation when you have a 40 Trillion debt and high-priced oil, so why lie about skittles and lollipops. The hard part starts now, but the work will be worth it was his message. The days to taking advantage of America are over and a new dawn is here.
He is the most unburdened President ever and when they were applauding America for giving Ukraine hundreds of billions, the Dems found their voices. They all wanted to virtue signal their lone poll tested issue and kept clapping about wasting those hundreds of billions he asked if they wanted it to go another five years and then said, “Pocahontas is still clapping and wants it to go another five years.” The camera panned to her and made her look like a fool.
But enough about their good points, Trump gave a giant speech for a hurting country. He told America if you are going to dream, dream big. The little black kid in the cop uniform after surviving brain cancer is given a membership to the Secret Service. The boy who lost his father, who was a cop dreamed of going to West Point with six sports and a 4.4 GPA and surprises the boy with his admission and then the little cop boy comes over and hugs him. How cold do you have to be to not cheer them?
How anyone made it through his speech without a few tears of the average Americans doing amazing things is what he wants people to see. He wants America to think of going to Mars rather than just the moon. Love him or hate him, there were no questions of where he plans to take this country.
You saw two visions of America loud and clear. You saw one side of the room laughing, cheering, and weaping for hard working Americans and the other small, infantile, and filled with hate. They had nothing to offer but a false worship which hates America and Americans.
That side of the room is what has held America back for their own selfish greed and Trump represents the end to their oppression of hard working Americans. It is hard to imagine anyone watching this crystal-clear display who could possibly want to be sitting in their chairs and hating their own people. Don’t you have something better to do than make fools of yourselves? No, really!

Excellent - your post AND the speech. I was prepared to not watch the entire speech but once started, I couldn’t turn it off. He truly did cover all the bases...and the zingers to the “right of him” were awesome. I saw Liz Warren playing with her phone but then he got her attention - LOL!
I saw Wasserman Schultz on News Nation at the end. She was asked if the entire show from the dems was a strategy and she said, “of course not.” No, Debbie - of course not - they all just happened to show up with their cutsie little signs - no strategy! She really doesn’t have a clue and hasn’t learned not to make a fool of herself.
She said the entire speech was nothing but “word salad”. Guess she liked that description so much from the days of Kamala that she decided to put it to use.
What on earth did the sign mean that someone was swinging around that read “why don’t you start by paying your taxes?” Wrong time, wrong place?
I did see one woman in red on the “right” (wrong) side of the chamber stand each time the Republicans stood...no idea who it was but I doubt anyone on that side stepped up to take her out for a drink later...

Maybe referring to a time a few years ago when an IRS person illegally leaked Trump's tax return which showed that he didn't pay much in taxes that year and the HBM (Has-Been-Media- pass it on) had a hissy fit.
What they didn't tell you is that the year before Trump overpaid his taxes by a huge amount. The IRS has the option to get a refund or apply the overpayment to the next year's taxes. Trump chose to apply the overpayment to the next year, so the next year's taxes, the one that was leaked, were much lower.
Gosh - they really stay up to date, don’t they? How many of us kept that story in our brain files? If they want to cling to their grievances, go to it, folks. The rest of us are trying to stay current with everything else that pops up every day!!!

RNC should use videos of the DNC behavior last night on a nationwide campaign to convince “common sense” democrats to leave their party and become Independents or Republicans. Today’s democrats bear no resemblance to democrats of days gone by.
