Another area I am hopeful that Dhillon will look at is hate crimes. Thus far, it seems to be that if there is a perceived hate crime of a white person against a black person, the office of civil rights is all in. But, there seems to be a lack of enthusiasm to prosecute hate crimes when blacks murder, rape, or severely injure white people.
Love it!
For almost 60 years we have been waiting to be treated equal, do it for the young.
I never dreamed we would see such a counterrevolution.
As they should.
You know, I used to say this. Then I got used to it and just assumed nothing would ever happen.
I personally saw this up close. I interviewed for an ‘executive architect’ position at a big company, went through 4 VP’s, all very happy - then the pause began. I was told to ‘be patient’, then I saw the job posted via the ‘Professional Diversity Network’. A group dedicated to ‘companies building a diverse workforce’.
I told them I was rescinding my candidacy. I’m not playing this game. I was very qualified, good luck finding a better candidate - period. Let alone a ‘DEI hire’. I was angry, it was clearly discrimination, I was the wrong race and gender....which is illegal.
A prior employer had a ‘career page’ on their web site. Two pie charts, one for 2022, another for 2023. It showed ‘white males’ as the largest slice, with ‘minorities/women’ as the other. Guess which shrunk and which grew for the 2023 year? There’s only two ways to accomplish that. Layoff white men, or only hire, disproportionately, minorities/women. IT’S ILLEGAL....yet companies were emboldened to ADVERTISE IT.
I remember telling my wife, this is going to come back and bite these companies at some point.
MORE WINNING!!!
they should. I dont understand why there are not more lawsuits against companies that violated Civil Rights and EEO laws.
In addition to going after corporations that use Didn’t Earn It (DEI) racial quotas, let’s see them go after local, county, state, and federal government agencies that have quotas for DEI firms on government contracts.
Between 1992 and 2016, I was a publicly identifiable conservative. I had 5 different jobs in that time. I was only ever hired by hiring managers who positively appreciated my conservatism, and was consistently rejected by HR Departments.
Old white straight conservative male.
I note that Harmeet Dhillon is of Punjabi-Indian origin. She didn’t get to where she was due to De
She should go after IBM first.
CEO is on tape for saying they were going to outsource jobs to India for DEI reasons.
I wish DEI had come along much earlier in my career. I would have done a lot more hunting, camping and fishing and a lot less corporate rat-racing.
