The problem with true pricing is that it will slow mainstreaming new treatments, because less people will use them because it costs too much.

They won’t be able to overcharge on smaller things to offset the costs of larger things.

Charging 50 k for nerve monitoring for a skull based surgery is ridiculous when the patient is told what comes in is cheaper. If you have to private pay you don’t get the same discount as insurance.

I welcome more transparency. Why should insurance pay 15k vs 35k after 30 percent discount.
