A federal judge in Seattle on Tuesday blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order halting the admission of refugees into the United States.
The ruling from U.S. District Court Judge Jamal Whitehead, a Biden appointee, is the first to block Trump’s order indefinitely suspending the United States Refugee Admissions Program.
Whitehead said the president’s order likely “crossed the line.”
The order, one of many the president signed on his first day in office, describes the country as “inundated with record levels of migration” over the past four years, threatening resources for U.S. citizens.
The order says Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem should recommend within 90 days whether the refugee program should resume.
The move stranded thousands of refugees expecting to come to the country. Days later, the White House also suspended funding for resettlement agencies, leading to layoffs and furloughs.
Tuesday’s ruling comes days after a federal judge in Washington D.C. denied a request to temporarily block the refugee funding freeze in a separate case.

He didn’t “block” anything. the ban remains in place and Sec. Noem has 90 days to make a recommendation on the order.
A Biden federal judge is not a legitimate federal judge. At some point that needs to be communicated to the public and we need to start removing these fraudulently appointed judges.
this judge has no power to over ruled the emergency declaration by Trump. This will be over rulled
Declare a national emergency and arrest the judge for treason.
I was thinking the same thing.
These lesser courts only have jurisdiction the Congress gives them. Congress should strip district courts of the power to grant injunctions against the federal government.
All injunction cases must be filed in district court and, only if the district court finds there is merit, be heard en banc by an appellate court to determine if an injunction should issue.
Bond should be mandatory.
I didn’t vote for Jamal for President.
Jamal. Friggin’ illegal aliens and foreign azzhos have taken over the U.S. Government, especially the judiciary.
I agree, let’s see him enforce this.
Arrest the judge.
He doesn’t have the authority period. It’s an executive order from the executive branch following constitutional requirements.

Whitehead has extensive experience representing classes of employees in employment disputes. For example, in Nwauzor v. The GEO Group, Inc., he represented a group of detained immigrants who were paid $1 per day to clean, do laundry, wash dishes, and perform other non-security jobs at a privately-run immigration detention center. Plaintiffs argued the GEO Group and detainee workers formed an employer-employee relationship, thereby requiring the workers to be paid the state minimum wage of $12 per hour. Whitehead served as lead counsel for a class of over 10,000 detainee workers. Ultimately, a jury trial resulted in a unanimous verdict finding that the GEO Group violated Washington law and awarding the class $17.3 million in backpay. An appeal is currently pending before the Ninth Circuit.
Except for one thing Whiteman:
He's the President and you ain't!
THAT JUDGE IS OUT OF HIS/HER LANE AND LOST IN EXTRA-CONSTITUTIONAL SPACE.
BAN THAT JUDGE FROM USING ALL U.S. GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS, PROPERTIES, FORMS OF COMMUNICATIONS, AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS.
Didn’t Pres Trump already do this as one of his first EO’s?
Judge should host a resettlement move to his house, his childrens’ houses, his mother’s house, his neighbors’ houses……
Take 90 day, then adopt a policy to admit one refugee a month!
Like I mentioned before, there are real refugees on the Earth, running away to save their lives.
So I am not against admitting few Real refugees.
But almost all the so called refugees in the US are not at all persecuted. They just claimed that status on the web or when illegally entering US!
They shall go back!
