You don't have to be a Nostradamus to see that there is a strong possibility that Congressman Dan Crenshaw will eventually turn AGAINST President Trump over the issue of Ukraine. And at the rapid rate that Trump is moving to achieve a peace settlement that possibility will happen sooner rather than later. This could all end with Crenshaw being primaried out of his congressional seat in 2026. The good news for him is that he has a future as a commentator for CNN or MSNBC as do all anti-Trump RINOs.

As noted before, the budget is the big issue upcoming.
There is Ukraine money in the Senate bill. There is no mention of it in the House resolutions that I have heard of.
If Congress attempts to usurp Trump’s prerogatives to determine US foreign policy and pass bills with Ukraine money, the question becomes —
Do they have the votes, with 100% Democrat involvement, to override a veto of those bills, especially with the Debt Ceiling attached.
Here are the numbers. 2/3 of each house is required to override a veto.
That would be 66 votes in the senate, with 47 Dems, so 19 GOP senators voting against Trump.
In the House of 435, 2/3 would be 290 votes, with the Dems currently holding 215 seats. So 75 GOP anti Trump votes would be required.
This is going to arise in discussion — along with refashioning the bills to extract all or the vast majority of Ukraine money.
