Speculation is raging as to the identity of the pilot involved in Delta Airlines Pearson Airport crash, with some sources claiming she was a woman who only got certified a month ago.
The plane flipped over while landing, leaving terrified passengers hanging upside down in their seats, and it’s a minor miracle that no one died, although 21 people were taken to hospital.
Many have blamed pilot error for the crash, noting that the pilot did not seem to attempt to pull the nose of the plane as it descended.

I see what you did there. :)
at least we know now why it crashed
If it was a white male pilot, their face would be plastered all over.
Talk about breaking the glass ceiling, she absolutely crushed it.
In a related story, I’ve been looking at that crash over and over. To me, it looks as though when the plane gets closer to the runway, the right landing gear is lower than the left landing gear and it hits the runway first. JMO.
Women “can” be great pilots, but the problem is when you promote someone simply because they are a woman and not a great woman pilot.
DEI not only results in accidents it puts into question every capable woman or minority credentials.
Are they really capable? or were they simply promoted because they are a woman or a minority?
I’m guessing there was a co-pilot.
I’ve been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that MAYBE wind shear pushed them down, but it’s getting more difficult to justify.
*groan*
They have to have 1500 flight hours before they are certified.
Diversity, Equity, and Inversion
Not even...
you sure?
barbers need 1500 hours.
DEI might need 50 hours.
I would be interested to see footage of a plane being landed by two people at the same time. I don’t think it can be done.
I have given up driving with my wife, as she thinks she can do it from the passenger seat.
Any landing that one can walk away from….

Often discussed with the first video days ago.
Right gear failed, wing separated, rolled.
Nice one!
Well, she certainly looks qualified....

Watch Air Disasters.
One was with three handling the controls.
Two on the yokes and the FE on the throttles.
