This story is absolutely hilarious.
We first heard about this back in December, but there were not as many details. Now, Sean Spicer has shared the entire saga with Glenn Beck.
In a nutshell, back in the fall of 2021, Spicer was serving on a couple of different boards. His term was set to end in November, but Biden fired him and some other conservatives in September, seemingly just to be a petty jerk.
Spicer then sued the Biden administration, for the sole purpose of losing and having a court of law affirm that Biden could fire whoever he wanted. It worked. Spicer lost the lawsuit. Then they went to an appeals court, which ALSO said that Biden, as president, had the power to fire anyone.
Fast forward to now. Trump has just fired the entire board of the Kennedy Center and they can’t do a darn thing about it. Why? Because Spicer forced the Biden administration to defend Spicer’s firing, which is now being cited as the legal precedent. It’s an ultimate FAFO.

I have always liked Sean Spicer. I hope Trump brings him back on board. Of course, Sean may already have had enough of the Washington DC experience reserved for Republicans.
Same with Hope Hicks. I heard she found it tough to get the kind of job she deserved after leaving Trump’s employment.
So great was the negative bias against the GOP.
Hilarious to hear the glee in Spicer’s voice as he tells this story....
As Barrack Hussein Obama himself once said, "Never underestimate Joe's ability to F things up."
This is an example of the Obama Rule.
“Never underestimate Joe’s ability to eff things up.”
Clinton fired all US attorneys, many embassadors and many others.
Hussein fired all US attorneys and many others including in the military.
The Potato did the same as Hussein dictated.
I’ll be damn.
The old be careful what you wish for trick
Exactly! This is Karma!
Its always the demonrats who violate law and protocal, then complain when it happens to them.
That was good thank you for posting.
You’re welcome!
I don’t normally watch talking heads but the first eight minutes of this is hilarious.
Thanks for posting.
You’re welcome!

.@seanspicer tells me the INCREDIBLE story of why President Trump can thank Joe Biden every time he fires someone:
"Stephen Miller and America First came to me and said, 'we have an idea...Let's go to court and make Joe Biden argue that he has the ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY to fire… pic.twitter.com/t5gpdCAFaQ— Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) February 18, 2025
Awesome.
Biden not only got rid of any and all Trump associated and Republican employees in the FedGov he went much further and contacted private corporations, associations, etc., and told them if they dared hire any of these people that the gov would not do business with them. Many could not find jobs because they were black balled.
Like Harry Reid’s Nuclear Option - they never thought it would come back to bite them.
“2013: Cloture on nominations
On November 21, 2013, Majority Leader Harry Reid raised a point of order that “the vote on cloture under Rule XXII for all nominations other than for the Supreme Court of the United States is by majority vote.” The presiding officer overruled the point of order, and the Senate voted 48–52 against sustaining the decision of the chair. The Senate therefore set a precedent that cloture can be invoked on nominations (except to the Supreme Court) by a simple majority, even though the plain text of the rule requires “three-fifths of the senators duly chosen and sworn” to invoke cloture. Three Democrats (Carl Levin, Joe Manchin and Mark Pryor) voted with all Republicans in favor of sustaining the decision of the chair. The text of Rule XXII was never changed.
Although the 60-vote threshold was eliminated for most nominations, nominations are still susceptible to being delayed by filibusters,] and 60 votes were still required to invoke cloture on other questions such as legislation and Supreme Court nominations.”
bkmk
The true genius behind all of this is Stephen Miller, current White House Deputy Chief of Staff. He is the lawyer behind Spicer’s law suit. It sounds as though his thinking and intellect is sympatico with JD Vance.
