For 26 Years, The U.S. Government Has Been Cooking the Books
Citizen Watch Report ^ | Alex Mark

The U.S. government has been operating in a state of financial chaos for 26 years, with persistent weaknesses in internal controls over financial reporting. This is not a recent issue—it’s a lifestyle for Washington, one that’s resulted in severe mismanagement of taxpayer money. The General Accounting Office has openly admitted that, year after year, there have been “material weaknesses” in the internal controls.

Translation? The government’s been cooking its books for the entire century. The Department of Defense (DoD) has ongoing financial management problems, while federal agencies like the SBA and Department of Education have struggled to accurately report on loan programs, further magnifying the depth of the crisis. Worse yet, the General Accounting Office (GAO) can’t even offer a reliable opinion on the financial health of the government because of all the gaping holes in how the federal government handles its numbers.

If by cooking you mean literally embezzling, stealing and bribing in support of perverted globalist, uni-party liberal causes, at the expense of the American Citizen I agree.

During the COVID lockdowns, SBA was tasked with supporting small businesses with loans. It was done with such haste that improper screening of applicants was performed before lending the money. That led to staggering defaults which happens when an agency puts “customer service” ahead of common sense lending practices. In recent years DEI was put before competence when hiring. Now, we are seeing the results.

That’s what the writer means :)

What’s amazing is that our country was so powerful, it could still be standing after a quarter of a century of complete abuse at the highest levels.

It just barely was surviving until Trump came along...and now he will make it thrive.

Most countries would be lost causes after a quarter century of that.

The JFK documents will show we’ve been living in essentially a Banana Republic for 60+ years.

So, are we going to allow the scumbags to keep their ill-gotten gains? While we’re changing America can we return to legal battles that don’t drag on any longer than Alex Jones’ legal battle?

Jail is for the common people. The elites rarely get prosecuted, let alone get jailed. This is why revolutions tend to be bloody for the people who were above the law.

I wonder if FASAB 56 (actually approved in Trump I) has any role in all this:

For all the “oversight” and “taxpayer protection” etc. bureaus in D.C. it is crystal clear they have NOT been doing their jobs. I hope DOGE goes full roto-rooter on them.
