So he can testify to all kinds of Dem dirt without invoking the 5th amendment?

“Is this another pardon?”
Previously Trump commuted his sentence. This is a pardon.

agree. He’s a Chicago street politician, so he isn’t an angel. And Obama is the same thing, only worse. I’m fully on board with giving him a clean slate.

I thought he only commuted his sentence, but didn’t give a full pardon.

Blago didn’t do anything many other governors have done.
The problem was Blago was being taped by the Feds.
The fear was not that Blago might incriminate himself, it was who on the other end of the line would have paid for that seat.
Patrick Fitzgerald the US Attorney rushed to charge Blago before any prominent Democrat made a cash offer, such as now Governor Prickster who had the bucks to make the winning bid.

"oh but will he spill on saint Barry?" Maybe. Remember though, Illinois is openly defying Trump about deporting illegal aliens. Maybe there are more targets than old Juggie.

Exactly correct. It has been a standard type of grift for Governors to have a big say in replacing a Senator. In this case, Obama wanted HIS guy in, so Blago got caught in the churn. Was he asking for the new Senator to fill his pockets, or to kick back to his Gubernatorial campaign, or just support him? I remember this happening clearly. I hate Democrats, but Blago got the shaft, they put the screws to him. There was another D Congressman that opened his mouth too often, he was thrown under a similar bus. James Traficant was his name. He had GREAT floor speeches.
