President Donald Trump fired Colleen Joy Shogan, the head of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
This is the same agency that targeted Trump over so-called “classified documents” lawfully stored at Mar-a-Lago.

They wanted it both ways: They wanted to force Trump to take possession of classified documents, implicitly admitting he owned them, then they wanted to prosecute him for possessing the very documents they forced him to take possession of and implicitly admitted he owned.

Shogan wasn’t Archivist at the time of the raid. The raid was on August 8, 2022. She wasn’t appointed Archivist by Biden’s handlers until May 17, 2023. Debra Steidel Wall, was Acting Archivist at the time of the raid, having taken over for David Ferriero who had been Archivist from November 6, 2009, until his retirement in April 30, 2022. Perhaps Shogan had something to do with the classified documents that Biden had illegal possession of. The fact that she’s a carryover, she needed to go no matter what.
