Dollar amounts at link - at least $4 million during Biden administration alone.

This is for DIGITAL CONTENT -- so pure profit for NYT without any printing costs.

In essence, these income transfers from the federal government to some -- but not all media -- function as bribes. While the Lefties want to call such things grants and the like, they come down to income transfers to entities which do NOT need public monies.

But the culture throughout the world has become "gimme." Corporate, governmental, individual, but all towards "free money." And always from someone else. Ergo, socialism for the rich, the well connected and the powerful.

Trump needs to sue to claw back the people’s money from these fake news sites.

What a Surprise! /ssssss

Any who is surprised by this is, well, a Biden voter.

The only reason the Washington Post is still around is a billionaire decided to make it one of his toys.

Reminds me of Air America Radio . They had to have initial ‘funding’ because no advertiser would waste money on it.

--- "Pretty obvious why we have a parade of rats crying about losing their money train."

Margaret Thatcher was a visionary in terms of formulating the message, "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money."

The fact is that socialism in all its flavors is a money-machine which is beloved by the recipients until such time as it can no longer deliver. Even so totalitarianism hangs on, as one sees in Cuba or North Korea. Because power for the few always breeds wealth for the few. This is the failing of it, as is the failure of big and corrupt government everywhere.

Politico got over $30 MILLION in taxpayer money.

Notice when Politico started receiving bulk payoffs from the federal govt. The money started flowing to Politico in 2015. The same year Trump descended that golden escalator. Then, the payoffs skyrocketed under Biden.

I wonder if the Lame Street Media major “news” papers along with most of the Lame TV “news” shows would survive without taxpayer dollars?

Because the RINOS didn’t want to “stoop to their level” and decided to “reach across the aisle” instead. Also, they’re probably in on it.
