CNN’s Jim Acosta may no longer be able to showboat during White House press briefings, but this is not stopping him from getting humiliated on national TV.
Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) appeared as a guest on Acosta’s eponymous show CNN Newsroom with Jim Acosta Wednesday to discuss the J6 pardons issued by President Trump on Monday. Unsurprisingly, Acosta was in a foul mood as he sought to force Burchett into condemning Trump for freeing over 1,500 political prisoners held hostage by the Biden regime.
“I just want to ask you if any of these people who were released from prison, if any of them commit crimes in the future, should Donald Trump take personal responsibility for that?” Acosta asked.
Burchett, though, had no interest in playing Acosta’s game and responded with fire.
“No more than Joe Biden should take personal responsibility for the 14 million people, for Laken Riley losing her life because he didn’t have enough guts to enforce the law,” he calmly replied.
“I’m not talking about Joe Biden!” Acosta angrily retorted.

Ironic that Acosta should pick this day to illustrate why his network is rapidly dying.
When Biden was in office, EVERYTHING that he did was to solve some issue that Trump had caused (to hear them tell it). Now that Biden has LEFT office, they want NO comparisons to him AT ALL.
