Are the Obamas headed for a divorce?
The tabloids are abuzz after Michelle Obama skipped Jimmy Carter’s funeral and announced she won’t be attending Trump’s inauguration.
Barack Obama attended Jimmy Carter’s funeral alone after his wife had a so-called scheduling conflict.
“Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former First Lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration.” – Michelle Obama’s spox said.
Rumors are swirling that Michelle and Barack are on the outs.

Two years ago Michelle Obama told Revolt that there was a solid 10-year period where she could not stand being married to Barack Obama.
The former First Lady also said her daughters were ‘terrorists’ when they were younger.
“People think I’m being catty for saying this. It’s like, there were 10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband,” Michelle Obama said in remarks to Revolt.

I have seen statistics that divorces in women/women marriages are much higher.

They won’t get divorced, like the Clintoons they’re in a marriage of convenience.
Divorce? I don’t know. The Clintons are the model of a political couple that, pretty much everyone assumes, lead separate lives but have an arrangement to stay married for the sake of the Clinton brand. I’ve kind of assumed the Obamas were operating along the same lines.
Honestly, I think the more obvious explanation is that Mooch is simply still butt hurt about the Nov. election. For almost 20 years, the media pushed a narrative Mooch was not only the most beloved, respected, glamorous “woman” in America but was also the moral conscience of the nation. They swooned at her self-righteous “they go low, we go high” rhetoric and cheered her race-baiting tirades. We here at FR, of course, thought it was all crap. But you know who likely didn’t think it was crap? Mooch. She undoubtedly believed every last accolade the media threw her way. But 2024 was the year that the jig was up. No matter how much Mooch tried to shame America into supporting Kamala, the public was no longer listening. The spell was broker. The clock struck midnight, and Mooch turned back into a pumpkin.
