Just one week before President Trump’s inauguration, an alarming incident involving unauthorized drone activity over the White House has sparked security concerns.
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) took to social media to share her firsthand account, revealing that her flight into Washington, D.C., had to be redirected as a result of the situation.
“I just flew into DCA,” Greene posted. “Before landing, our pilot announced he had to fly in from another direction due to ‘unauthorized drone activity’ over the White House.”
This incident occurred just hours after Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, in collaboration with district and federal authorities, reassured the public of stringent security measures during a Monday press conference.
The unexpected drone activity, however, underscores the challenges facing law enforcement and federal agencies as they prepare for the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump.
..... Snip.....
U.S. Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger highlighted the persistent threat of a “lone actor,” which continues to be a primary concern for law enforcement.
“That threat of the lone actor remains the biggest justification for us maintaining this heightened state of alert throughout the next week,” Manger said.

MTG should have been hunkered in her DC Bunker for the last two weeks.
Am I the only one who views the ‘drone’s’ presence and the government denials and inaction as surreal?

This entire century so far has been a nightmare.
Unauthorized drones over DC kind of makes me wonder what the real reason is that Xi has turned down Trump’s inauguration invite.
The FBI and DoD are on it. Their first priority is to locate Tulsi Gabbard and find out what she’s doing.
Trump should seat Obama right next to him. “You get me, you get him.”
“...Trump should be inaugurated at Mar-A-Lago....”
Fully agree with that. Apparently, It’s not safe or him to be anywhere near DC. Inaugurate him at Mar-A-Largo and let him clean up the RAT-inspired shithole from there until it’s safe to return to DC.
There’d be no shame in it given the current optics. That’s for sure.
Someone had better clear this up BEFORE a worthwhile person enters the White House January 20th.

Yes. The Southern White House. I think I like it.
<”...temporary flight restrictions, drone patrols, and the installation of over 30 miles of fencing around the Capitol...”>>>
That’s nice.
But two-dimensional thinking won’t do a lot of good against a three-dimensional threat. A couple of years ago someone posted a video of a pistol attached to a personal drone firing away.
Excellent idea!

He’s not coming, but he is sending a high level representative. The Chinese have their own ‘drone’ issues, which should say something. If this government knows the Chinese are the ones behind the drones, I don’t think Trump would be welcoming Xi’s representative.
No, not at all. You for DAMNED sure can’t go fly your cessna over the white house, why are these drones allowed? (You could make beefy drones and attach explosives to them so don’t give me the ‘The drones are no threat’ line).
Ping
I was informed by one of the resident know-it-alls (glowie?) that there are no drones. Only airplanes and Venus. "These are not the drones you're looking for..."
Well, the drone thing has been happening for a while.
But another square peg is the hotel bookings for the Inauguration are down about 30% too. That may change as the week finishes out, but just another data point.
