Mel Gibson zeroed in on Newsom’s wildfire prevention failures
while directing billions of tax dollars to “woke” initiatives.

Has anyone ever seen Gavin Newsome without a pound of hair gel smothering his brain?

Mel didn't go far enough "...while directing billions of taxpayer dollars towards woke initiatives, ILLEGALS, and HOMELESS DRUG ADDLED BUMS." Here is what California spends every year... Just imagine what California would be like without these staggering expenditures that just piss money down the toilet...if this money were spent for the benefit of the honest, legal, law-abiding, tax-paying good citizens. CA would once again be paradise.

Didn’t Newsom buy a brand new multimillion dollar hoe under an LLC to hide his wealth?

All that tax money is needed to fund Newsom's pet lefty projects like making California a sanctuary state, providing illegals with housing, food and health care, high speed rail that isn't running after 17 years and billions of dollars, funding "gender corrective" surgery for prison inmates and spending millions "Trump proofing" the state.

Do not leave out the high speed rail project - 17 years, billions wasted and not a single train is running - I understand 1600 feet of track has been built.

Thanks. I’ll add that to the list. That train will cost $200 billion and never run. It won’t have any riders and will fall into decay as it will require $2 billion per year of maintenance. It will get massive public subsidies to keep operating.

I can fly SFO - LAX in 50 minutes, no stops, smooth, efficient and reliable. This train is the stupidest boondoggle ever.

homelessness in the state increased by about 30,000 despite the [$24 billion in] spending.

Well, quel surprize...people, even the homeless, respond to economic incentives. Projects like Roomkey and Homekey spent billions on providing motel/hotel rooms and homes to the homeless. You clowns in CA don't think this attracts the homeless? It's like leaving a pile of sugar on the sidewalk and expecting ants to ignore it.

How 'bout this instead: Take homes that are abandoned or in tax arrears, and talk the local trade unions into taking on the homeless/unemployed as apprentices. Take the $24 billion, purchase some homes, have the trade unions rehab them, and sell them for low-cost housing, using the funds to buy more homes. The city wins by putting homes on the tax roles, the unions win with more members, the homeless/unemployed win by learning a marketable skill, and low-income people win with more affordable homes coming on the market. But that would help solve the problem and politicians prefer people to be dependent on them rather than solving the problem.

Perhaps the water and natural gas to homes in evacuation zones should have been shut off by utilities to prevent water pressure loss and explosions.

Windows could have been covered by sheet metal.

Vents to roofs could have been covered.

Speaking of Newsom...

His wife has been seen on the news today, doing a photo op with the Harkles at some relief station.

In every story I’ve looked at she’s referred to as First Partner, Newsom’s partner...

Are they a lawfirm?

Apparently “wife” is a dirty word amongst the ruling class and the enemedia in CA...?
