The question I have is whether the Far Left tyrants who have declared they will avoid the Inauguration are doing so as a political statement that they intend to fight our legal government's transfer of power, OR, because they have been warned of a mass casualty event at noon on 20 January.

I'm betting a HUGE bomb, or a poison gas attack, performed by the CIA/FBI. The Agency/democrats are looking at lot of people who believed they are immune from prosecution going to hard time prisons, for life, or longer, once Trump starts investigations.

I see a drone attack as well within the realm of possibility. This inauguration is 2025, not 1988 which I attended with my father.

I believe a presidential motorcade always has a medical vehicle and personnel in the queue with the president’s blood type available for transfusion if necessary. Would such preparation be available at the inauguration? I don’t know.
