Ever since their mighty odongo repealed that media accountability law, the MSM has become nothing but a loud mouthpiece for the DS spewing forth pure propaganda completely unabated to the point that nobody in their right mind believes a single word they say anymore. Alternate sources of information have pretty much replaced them for those seeking truth.
That accountability law should be reinstated...and enforced.

Enshrining it as an amendment to the Constitution would be a more adept move. Given the current dismal level of support the media has, it might just pass in 2/3 of the states.

Forgive me, wildcard, but I just haven’t gone down deep on the topic. On the German terrorist attack, I wasn’t DEFENDING the coverage, I was reporting on what I’d read. That’s infinitely different. You said there was another side I hadn’t seen. I accepted that fact. Then turned from that topic to others that I found of more interest.
On the subject of the Muslim invasion of the West, I truly have no answers. I have red lines. They are drawn at my belief that no one has the right to coerce any human being into any taking any point of view for any reason. You come across bigots everywhere. It doesn’t matter what their beliefs are, there are just insane people who believe they are so right it is obvious that everyone should agree with them. Those people I ignore and pretend they don’t exist because you can’t have rational conversations with them.
Muslims are a very large group that fit that category, but they’re scarier than the normal Christian bigot, or racial bigot of whatever color, or class bigot. That’s because they believe in violence, rather than argument, to force their point of view upon others. And they do it insidiously through sympathetic laws that begin with Sharia under the guise of support for community that hides the coercion to conform.
Can you force a group that believes lying in support of achieving their ultimate goal is a right way to behave, to act in a way that allows the American goals of each individual’s freedom to their own beliefs to be maintained? I can’t see how you do it. The only thing you can do is make laws that stop coercion. But lawmakers aren’t immune from bribery or personal interest in their actions and the laws can be stopped from being written and local officials can be stopped from enforcing them.
As always, I only have one hope. That’s Trump. I believe in him completely. He discusses a topic and I realize he got to the subject before I did and that I agree with him, or I realize that he’s saying something that I’ve said for years. And he’s willing to fight to make the things that I believe in happen.
So I stay quiet and can only hope that this time he has the right people to take out the wrong people, and that the bigots are stopped from forcing us all into unAmerican positions in this great country that I lucked out enough to be born into.
