President Trump announced last month that Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will head the external advisory committee, DOGE, which will “provide advice and guidance from outside of Government, and will partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.” Trump has said that the two will cut as much as $2 trillion in wasteful government spending annually.

Vivek Ramaswamy said on X, “Currently reading the 1,547-page bill to fund the government through mid-March. Expecting every U.S. Congressman & Senator to do the same.”

Elon and Vivek should ask if one single congressperson in the
house read the bill.

This is not a Continuing Resolution. A CR would only take about 12 pages.
This is the Democrats farewell spending bill and an attempt by the Congressional criminals to protect themselves for their actions over the last 4 years.
Looks like Congress did not get the message of the past election.

Did anyone see Thune’s face after the DOGE statement? Turtle’s SwampWhore looked like he got a big bag of turds for Christmas.

Hating the fact that he has to answer to primary voters soon, and that Trump is coming.

They are paid $174,000.00 now. With a 40% increase it would be $243,600.00.

“40% Pay Increase to Congressmen?”

Max of 3.8%. First raise since 2009.

Others, including Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton, noted that the CR will also allow members of Congress to swap out their Obamacare insurance plans for the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP). Per Punchbowl News, “Under the Affordable Care Act, lawmakers and some designated staff are required to use an Obamacare exchange instead of the FEHBP.”

“Rules for thee…” said Fitton.
