VIDEO: Media Goes BERSERK Over Fetterman Meeting With Hegseth

VIDEO

The press swarming around Senator John Fetterman because he (GASP!) actually spoke to Pete Hegseth reminded me of the scenes of the press in "The Right Stuff" sounding like "root weevils" as the Chuck Yeager character described them. Watch the shock of the media thinking it is something incredible that a Democrat senator would want to speak to one of President Trump's nominees. Funny how there was NO such press concern when the utterly incompetent Lloyd Austin of triple Covid mask infamy was also nominated to be Defense Secretary.

If you have ever seen "The Right Stuff" (one of the BEST films of the 80s) then you will get a definite "root weevil" vibe watching the press swarm around Fetterman.

The media has learned nothing from the election. Their arrogance and ignorance is astounding.

The media has learned nothing from the election. Their arrogance and ignorance is astounding.

And neither has the Democrat Party. I am comfortable predicting that the Dem Party will not learn a single thing from their election losses and will make no changes. same for the media.

Fettermen has made an extraordinary recovery. Is it really the same guy? He appears to be a bit of a free agent inside the democrat party, not sure if it’s real or just posturing but if he votes for Trump’s nominees we should be willing to work with him wherever we can.

I'm not a Fetterman fan but I must admit he looks pretty funny there looming over the swarming crowd of cockroaches tiny reporters.

Its interesting to see so many business leaders jumping on the Trump train. They got the message, and they want a seat at the table. Its really amazing to see so many of them flipping sides. Had Trump lost they wouldn’t have given him the time of day.

Leftist media personalities exist in an echo chamber of lies and delusions. With all dissenting voices inside that echo chamber canceled and expelled, they remain insulated from opposing viewpoints. Questioning their ideology or each other is strictly taboo. This insular environment explains why, even as profitability and viewership disappear, the Lefties in the media remain unable—or unwilling—to recognize the truth.

They're are bat-guano crazy.

I once had an acquaintance (now deceased) who was steeped in this stuff. He couldn't discuss it or even listen to others discussing it without becoming a ball of anger and confusion. If he happened to enter a group discussion at work about the positive aspects of capitalism, for example, he would try to dominate the conversation by speaking over everyone else or he would walk away in a huff.

It was a mental illness.

This used to be normal. Corporate titans would swarm to big Republican winners like Nixon and Reagan and no one raised any eyebrows. Yes, they were opportunistic, but they were expected to be so.

More recently, big business leaders became committed ideologues, even defending the Dems against their own best business interests, and that is why this reversion to normalcy makes news.

Did you see the recent interview with Lesley Stahl? She was all flustered about her precious legacy media losing its mojo. She doesn’t grasp that people like her are the reasons its dying.

The Dems DEFINITELY have something to worry about as Fetterman wouldn’t waste his time with Hegseth if he wasn’t considering supporting him.

But the REAL QUESTION is whether Fetterman is prepared to give Hegseth his 50th vote. Manchin was NOT when it came to Kavenaugh, but we’ll see here.

And the MSM can’t understand why they are dying.

On a different note, Fetterman is acting more and more like a statesman. Something Capitol Hill hasn’t seen in decades.

I didn’t see that, but I’m not surprised. Those on the Left are incapable of introspection. And without introspection, you’re stuck in an eternal loop.

fetterman SEEMS to me to be the real deal, a genuinely independent Democrat thinker ... my take is that fetterman is positioning himself to be the Trump of the Democrat Party, that is, the nearly once-in-a-lifetime individual who can steer the SS Democrat away from the lurking icebergs and save that ship from crashing and sinking ...

Donald Trump single-handedly destroyed multiple political dynasties in charge of both parties, turned the GOP around 180 degrees from the good ol’ boy, white shoe, wall street, country club party into the party of the working class and the everyday American, while exposing the Democrat party as the party of the elite billionaires, oligarchs, monopolists, wall streeters, profiteers, and assorted leftist nutjob woke snowflakes.

this last election put the GOP on firm footing for the future and left the Democrats rudderless ... only a Trumpian figure for the Democrats can step into the power vacuum, seize the levers of party power and steer the Democrat Party away from the icebergs of destruction and back into the mainstream ... i believe that John Fetterman is the only person on the horizon who is even remotely capable of doing that ...

Go to You Tube and see how they’re all clamoring now in the UK for Trump to come and save them. The Brits, the Canadians , the Kiwis, the Aussies and the Scots. It’s shocking to see what’s going on over there.

Arrogant bastards hated the man for eight years and now it’s “Come and save us!’’.

*spit.*
