America Owes Nothing to Europe While Europe Owes U.S. EVERYTHING

Europe owes a huge debt of gratitude to America for various reasons, particularly during pivotal moments in history. Some key contributions where America saved Europe's bacon include:

  1. World War I: The United States entered World War I in 1917, tipping the balance in favor of the Allies. The influx of American troops and resources helped end the war, leading to the eventual defeat of the Central Powers.
  2. World War II:America played a crucial role in the defeat of Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and Imperial Japan. Beyond military support, the U.S. provided economic aid through programs like the **Lend-Lease Act**, which supplied essential materials to Britain and the Soviet Union, helping them sustain their war efforts. The D-Day invasion of Normandy in 1944 was a pivotal turning point in the war.
  3. Post-War Reconstruction: After World War II, America was instrumental in rebuilding war-torn Europe, both through direct aid (such as the Marshall Plan) and by fostering the creation of international institutions like the United Nations and the International Monetary Fund. These efforts helped stabilize Europe and prevent the spread of communism, as well as promote long-term economic growth.
  4. Cold War DefenseDuring the Cold War, the U.S. served as a critical security partner for Western European nations, helping to deter Soviet expansion through NATO and maintaining a military presence in Europe. This provided stability and security during a time of geopolitical tension.
  5. Cultural and Technological Exchange: American influence also shaped Europe in terms of culture, technology, and innovation. American music, film, and consumer products became a part of European life, and advancements in science and technology during the 20th century were often driven by collaboration between European and American researchers.

In summary, Europe's enormous debt toward America can be traced to America's military, economic, and political support during key historical periods, as well as its contributions to European stability and prosperity in the aftermath of global conflicts.

Europeans had better get used to much less American help in the future thanks to the inbred, over privileged, aristocrats that rule Europe. If the unimpressive "elite" keep up with their clownish antics you might see the U.S. military landing in France to take care of the communist scum that infest European capitals.

European leadership is actively hostile to both freedom and America and America will either leave you to the wolves or take care of you ourselves someday.

Please excuse my ignorance: Don’t they still owe us a lot of money from the assistance we gave them? (They can never repay the blood that was shed on their behalf.)

Huge mistake.

The ruling class in USA were close to British Aristocrats primarily due to trade.

If the Germans had won WWI, we wouldn't have been forced to get involved in WWII.

Yes. 100% true.

And Russia is at the top of the list in terms of Europeans owing the US.

“And Russia is at the top of the list in terms of Europeans owing the US.”

You are a one-trick pony. Is there anything that doesn’t revolve around Russia?

7 weeks until the end of the Ukraine War and your reason for being.

Nope, ... factually Russian European land areas are a small minority of Russian land areas, and Western European Nations were initial aggressors in wars with Russia.

If you wish to reference the Soviet Union, keep in mind that it is NOT Russia and it did include all of Eastern Europe in total.

The Soviet Union was a declared Ally of The United States during the US participation in WWII.

Well lots of us have family who got dead or wounded in their little tiffs over land, similar to the current argument.

Don’t see the point of us getting involved with such things ever again unless it’s a direct threat to the territorial integrity of the US or our lives.

And a little turf war over who gets to pump Crimean natural gas or oil isn’t really germane to us, now is it?

Most of American culture has European roots (Greece, Rome, medieval Christianity, the Renaissance, the Scientific Revolution). France helped us in the Revolutionary War.

But 1783 is a long time ago.

Finland paid off its debt from the Russo-Finnish war.
I believe Lichtenstein up until about 2006 was the only country to pay back its WW2 debt. It took the UK about 40 years, but they finally paid off theirs.

A lot of sentiment in the US in WW1 that they were repaying France for its assistance during the Revolutionary war. DeGaulle returned the favor by demanding all US forces be withdrawn from France, spurring the anecdote of Dean Rusk leaving DeGaulle speechless by asking "does that include those buried at Normandy?"

As for the rest....a song by the Edgar Winters Group comes to mind.

It was long trendy in Germany for a while to bash the presence of US bases, and then their removal was actually considered, they came begging for them to stay (not because of the Soviet threat, mind you, but because all that US money would disappear).

My attitude: Europe via the EU etc has resurged as the regime European immigrants fled from to the US all through the 1800s through early 1900s.

Some years ago, a series of massive fires out West happened. Nary a peep from our 'allies', but Russia volunteered planes capable of dropping large amounts of water. (Although they never did pay back in full for Lend-Lease).

Alinsky tactics.

You are the Russian troll.

You took the bait.

It’s true but I knew the Putin brigade would squeal.

You did.

It’s funny because I agree with your post. But but but not Mother Russia.

Lol.

So, we should just allow Russia to expand without check?

You realize the the EU is a huge trading partner?

Your premise lacks some understanding.
