DECAPITATION STRIKES? Putin Warns Russia May Use Its New Hypersonic ‘Hazel’ Missile To Attack Ukrainian ‘Decision-Making Centers’ in Kiev (VIDEOS)

In the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Israeli ambassador met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and got from him a guarantee that Moscow would not kill his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.

Now, 3 years later, Israel got into two wars of its own and implemented a jaw-dropping program of decapitation strikes that took out the complete leaderships of Hamas and Hezbollah.

But now, Russia, after having Western-made long-range missile strikes into its territory, has unveiled a new hypersonic weapon Oreshnik (Hazel), and after a first strike in a defense compound in Dnipropetrovsk, is warning that it may now use it against high-value political targets.

Putin said Moscow may use the Oreshnik to attack ‘decision-making centers’ in Kiev in response to Ukraine’s firing of Western missiles at Russian territory.

Reuters reported:

“Russia has not so far struck Ukrainian government ministries, parliament or the president’s office in the course of the 33-month war.”

Watch: Putin is asked if Russia is preparing for a new launch of the ‘Oreshnik’ at the ‘decision-making centers’ in Kiev. He recalls an old Soviet joke, and adds that ‘today, anything is possible’.

While Kiev is heavily protected by air defenses, Putin has said that the ‘Hazel’ can’t be intercepted by any existing systems.

‘’Of course, we will respond to the ongoing strikes on Russian territory with long-range Western-made missiles, as has already been said, including by possibly continuing to test the Oreshnik in combat conditions, as was done on November 21’, Putin told leaders of a security alliance of ex-Soviet countries at a summit in Kazakhstan.

“At present, the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff are selecting targets to hit on Ukrainian territory. These could be military facilities, defense and industrial enterprises, or decision-making centers in Kiev’, he said.”

Zelenskiy called this as ‘a tactic to disrupt attempts to end the war’.

“’He doesn’t seek an end to this war. Moreover, Putin wants to prevent others from ending the war’, Zelenskiy said in his nightly video address. ‘He can go on wielding his Oreshnik only to thwart the efforts of President Trump which are sure to follow his inauguration. Putin wants to escalate the situation to such an extent so that President Trump’s attempts will fail. So that he cannot end the war’.”

Even without the Oreshnik, Russia is obliterating Ukraine’s energy system, using Kaliber cruise missiles with cluster munitions to cut power to more than 1 million people.

“Russia says Ukraine fired more ATACMS at its Kursk region on Nov. 23 and Nov. 25 and struck Russia with British Storm Shadow cruise missiles too, after the United States and Britain agreed for the first time to allow Kiev to strike deep inside Russian territory with these weapons.”

Russia has ‘several’ Oreshniks ready to use, and again warned that the missile was comparable to a nuclear weapon in terms of its destructive power and would ‘atomize’ everything at the point of impact.

The Ukrainian government's decision making facilities are located in Fairfax County, Virginia...the home of the Military Industrial Complex.

Indeed, they could even strike the White House, but no decision-making is taking place there until January 21.

It's dropping conventional weapons from a sub-orbital MIRV platform? (the MIRV platform is what I would expect on an RS-28)

The way I understand it these MIRVS are ram jet powered and can manuever and speed up to mach 12.

Certainly the gruesome Myrotvorets site targeting even Americans pretends to Langley, And Warsaw....

Nice Ukraine List

"Langley, VA, USA and Warszawa, Polska," so says their website's splash page.

I have read two transcripts of Putin’s remarks to determine what his intent was.

I believe the true message about Decision Making Centers was diplomatic speak for CIA, US, British, French, Polish, and NATO command and control bunkers and black sites.

The damage to the underground missile factory from USSR times was destroyed by the shock and awe of Thor’s Hammer Missiles.

One of those missiles could punch 6 holes thru a naval vessel without an explosive warhead....

Also, Russia MOD announced that part of the retaliation was taking out Western Missile system, e.g., HIMARS, etc., and that they were systematically doing so.

Putin stated they know the locations of all US arms and the pipeline. They know where we have deployed people and equipment in Ukraine.

The destruction of NATO equipment and boots on the ground would be crossing NATO’s red line that they do not exist in Ukraine.

What Russia is telling Ukraine and NATO and Biden, is that all the western personnel in Ukraine are going to lose their immunity to date in this conflict.

Decapitation strikes means more than the Bandaras idealogy running Ukraine. It was clear warning to the actual personnel from the West in Ukraine, their hotels, etc.

Just regular nuke warheads from a MIRV should be moving at Mach 14+ as I recall from way back

Very difficult to intercept though that’s what the Patriot system was developed for - then they found out it could shoot aircraft (this was a statement from the 1990s)

Putin disappoints me. He’s not nearly as intelligent and inscrutable as I thought he was. Shrewd and crafty leaders don’t publicly advertise their military strategies and tactics. They prepare for all of the possibilities while waiting quietly for an aggressor to make the first move. And if they’re really smart, they anticipate the first move and stop an attack before it even starts.

One wonders when Russian proxies like the Houthis will "develop" Oreshnik missiles?

By the way, Boris Johnson admitted quite openly yesterday that Ukraine is a proxy-war for the West against Russia.

Why wouldn’t Russia just do it if they are at war? I really don’t understand this approach. Unless it’s a nuke.

Shrewd and crafty leaders don’t publicly advertise their military strategies and tactics.

One can assume that once the missile was used, western military analysts could assess its capabilities and plug that into their models and draw strategic conclusions. So in that sense, Putin hasn't revealed any secrets.

I imagine Putin now is just trying to shape the larger western western media political debate. Its probably stupid on his part to assume many Americans know or care, or if the DC uniparty "hive mind" can ever be modified - but that's probably his motivation.

Almost all Ukrainian military decision making would be local to the front lines.

The key is to hold off Russian advances and kill as many Russian attackers as possible, while keeping Ukrainian casualties as low as possible.

The Russian targets not near the front lines to attack by missiles are probably picked in the Pentagon.
