This substantive overreach is why the U.S. refused to join the ICC in the first instance, and the jurisdictional overreach poses a threat to the United States. If they can issue an arrest warrant for Bibi Netanyahu, they can issue an arrest warrant for an American president.
There has been a lot of commentary about the abusiveness and unlawfulness of the International Criminal Court issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

What’s more disgusting is how almost every European country supports this arrest warrant and would happily turn Bibi over to this sexual predator prosecutor. I wonder when European Jews will once again have to wear a yellow star. The antisemitism of Europe has been simmering beneath the surface. Now it’s rearing its ugly head once again.
