Following Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 United States presidential election, social media erupted in a storm of criticism after a professor's tweet claimed that "educated people vote blue," sparking a fierce debate about elitism, political polarization, and the broader culture wars in America.
On November 6, 2024, a PhD professor in English, Sueanna Smith, penned a tweet on X suggesting that educated people tend to vote for the Democratic Party (blue), while the "uneducated" population is seen as hindering progress.
"There is a reason why educated people vote blue. What we're seeing is the uneducated population of America holding the rest of the country hostage. This is why there's such a push to weaken education, ban books, and outlaw the teaching of Black history by the Republican Party," Smith wrote.

Hang on a second.
I'm supposed to be impressed by a tenured goofball whose one achievement in life is sharpening the razor in her native language?
Whoop-ti-do.
Just ask AI to replace every occurrence of “educated” with the more accurate “indoctrinated”, and it will all make sense.
People with a lemming mindset vote blue. People who think for themselves vote red.
Blues are easy to rally and then mislead. Reds - you might as well be herding cats.
Perhaps we are just non-conformist.
Perhaps we are just contrarian.
Perhaps we don’t just also run off cliffs with the rest of the social lemmings.
Perhaps we don’t feel obliged to do what our (self-appointed) betters say we need to do.
Perhaps we don’t just blindly listen to what the hollywood talking props advocate we should do.
Holy carp!
I just looked up her LinkedIn page - she doesn’t know any other languages than English!
What a maroon! How uneducated can you get?
That’s right.
Contrary to what this so called professor says, books aren’t being completely banned. You can still find the ones we pulled from school libraries on Amazon and eBay.
As Michael Malice says, “It’s easier to train a smart dog than a dumb one.”
The “educated” Smurfs didn’t do well this time. They’re still in their safe places drinking cocoa, eating cookies and playing with their Legos.
Just look in your normal library. The only place those books are "banned" is in the public school library. And usually only in elementary and sometimes middle school at that.
English, so easy my two year old grand daughter can speak it. Shove your PhD up your a$$ “doctor “
Yes, you’re correct.
It’s going to take a number of election beat downs and economic pain before this attitude changes anytime soon, if ever.
The good news is, this female dipshit isn’t just screwing up college, she’s also going to contribute to huge losses for the current democrat coalition as we move through the decade.
They keep using that word, I do not thing it means what they think it means.
Indeed. :)
But pronto.
No pic of the good doctor. Here’s one. About what you’d expect.
