WORLD WAR III TRACKER

Many of the media headlines reporting on Israel’s air strikes on Iran in the middle of the night last night say something along the lines of “could lead to an escalation of the regional war.” I have news for everybody: World War III has been underway at least since October 7 of last year, whether we want to acknowledge it or not. The only question is whether its scale and level of intensity will rise to the level of the previous two world wars. But let’s look at some facts.

Item: Last week it was reported that Russia has provided targeting information to the Houthis in Yemen.

Item: North Korea has sent several thousand troops to fight for Russia against Ukraine.

Item: China has recently engaged in what appears to be a dress rehearsal for a blockade of Taiwan, practicing a full-scale naval encirclement of what I’m going to back to calling Free China.

Regarding Israel’s strike on Iran, it appears Israel has acceded to American demands that it not strike against Iran’s nuclear weapons program, or its important oil infrastructure. This likely reflects not merely the usual timorousness of Democratic foreign and defense policy elites, but the more proximate driver of the upcoming election. Democrats are terrified that any escalation of the Middle East front will diminish further Kamala Harris’s chances of winning.

Yep. Gas is cheaper than it’s been almost since Trump. I saw if for about $2.50 a gallon a few days ago.

Less than 2 weeks before election WHAT A COINCIDENCE 🤮

I’m not ready to say WW III has started, but events are certainly leading up to it.
The fuse is burning. I just don’t think we know how long it is.

If there is a WWIII, I would say it began in 2011-12, when due to western stupidity trying to remove a leader they didn’t like - Assad of Syria, they instead got Russia and Iran with vastly increased presence and abilities in the Eastern Mediterranean. Since that time both have used that oresence to enhance the abilities of proxy clients seeking to attack Israel, Saudi interests (Yemen), or any western interests in the area. The proxy clients are playing the game Iran and Russia intended

[Russia used Iran to share with the Houthi satellite data on western shipping in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea & they have coordinated development and production of drones with Iran]

but it is drawing them into the fray directly, which can only spread.

It does not help Russia that Putin also invaded Ukraine, creating another bog flashpo8int of concern to the west, and costing Russia immensely.

Trump needs to understand that while Biden’s weakness allowed much of the increased conflict, what does that weakness really mean. What it means is that weakness is just another form of U.S. withdrawal of its interest, which has an affect no different than would an isolationist policy.

Then again it could lead to the righteous elimination of Iran, something the entire Middle East could unite behind. If it gets to the point that Iran is mortally damaged, look for a pile on from the others.
