Clinton Advocates Total Government Control [semi-satire]

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went on CNN to make the case for giving government total control over information. "Right now, there are too many websites that allow users to post anything that's on their mind," she complained. "This is because federal law permits Internet platforms to pretend that they are, like the Post Office, just passing along communications without taking any responsibility for inspecting the content. It's bad enough that the Post Office passes along malicious and erroneous content, but it's limited to one recipient per envelope. A messaged placed on Facebook or X can reach millions in an instant at little to no cost."

"We need to repeal this law and hold all of these sites liable for passing along any information that the government has determined is misleading or dangerous," Clinton demanded. "If the owners of these sites know that they could be bankrupted or imprisoned for allowing forbidden content on their sites we'd have thousands of enforcers of the truth the government is trying to impart to the citizens of this country. The unity that the Biden Administration was attempting to inspire through moral persuasion would be reinforced with a mighty stick of severe punishment."

Left wing lunatic Keith Olbermann hailed Clinton's proposal, calling it "much needed common sense. While we're waiting for Congress to make her recommended changes to the law, let's deport Elon Musk. He's not a natural born American. He's an imported alien scumbag who's polluting the web with the rantings of every anti-government kook who posts on his X social media site. Since the Supreme Court declared that presidents are immune from being prosecuted for crimes they commit while in office, I suggest that President Biden have Musk kidnapped and sent back to South Africa where he can be killed and eaten. Such a bold act would solidify his place as the most effective president in America' s history."
