I lived in Florida when it was blue under Bob Graham. Look at Wisconsin to see what happens when Republicans rest on their laurels and take their eyes off of the ball.
Remember Scott Walker? Remember the storming of the Wisconsin Capitol building? Nobody called that an "insurrection;" teachers took over that building for a week and stopped all legislation, and were applauded for it.
And they took their classroom students to the protest with them! And then got "doctors" to sign notes to their bosses to excuse their absences from school!!!

On election night last time I stayed up until about 2am, the talking heads on the TV channels were speaking breathlessly about a possible EC total for DJT >400 so I turned in.
Of course later that day the (D) totals took a leap upwards :(
