That’s a very interesting story I’d like to read about sometime in the future, but for present purposes, it’s not going to help him get more votes.
It may be seen as a distraction, or effort to pander to certain Dems who still worship anything Kennedy related.
Hung Cao is an oxymoron..................
I will disagree.
If you have an interesting story people who would not read policy papers will read the story.
Of those people who read the story a certain percentage (about 1/3) will read about you because you are telling an interesting story.
That is a percentage that never would have done so without the story.
More and more I am starting to see a problem in how we reach out to people. We plonk ideas on the table like they are a bunch of beets and say "take it or leave it". Those that leave it we sneer at and say that they just did not understand. Well, no. You made no attempt to make it attractive.
These are potential voters and allies that we are not bringing over to our side for lack of a little effort.
PANDER??? he can go down 300 FEET...can you?
Disagree. It was very courageous, skilled, dangerous and heroic behavior, regardless of whom he retrieved.
“it’s not going to help him get more votes.”
I think it might. People like celebrity, and his story puts him close to a celebrity. And other people like macho, and his story definitely screams macho.
