In a recent interview on Fox News, Republican Senate candidate Hung Cao of Virginia revealed while serving in a U.S. Navy’s Special Operations unit, he helped retrieve the body of John F. Kennedy Jr.’s body and plane.
Cao, in an interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham, shared, “As a Navy diver, I recovered John F. Kenendy Jr. and his plane.”
In an interview with the National Review in 2022, Cao gave more details on the mission.
Cao stated, “John F. Kennedy Jr. crashed in July of 1999, and we were at my commanding officer’s house that night. People had been searching for days.”

Jesus taught in parables for a reason as well. It makes it easy for people to learn and remember.
Before we make tools, build or even cook we tell stories. Something so primal and basic should be used.
Many years ago my long time dentist told me that either his brother or his cousin (I can’t remember which) was on the dive team that recovered Jr. And his wife and SIL. According to him they had to use percussion grenades to get the crabs off the bodies in order to recover them.
I watched a little bit of his debate. Initially I thought he could have been a bit more aggressive.
Then it became apparent, IMHO, that he was restraining himself from absolutely thrashing Kaine on tv. Kaine looked scared.
Disagree. It was very courageous, skilled, dangerous and heroic behavior, regardless of whom he retrieved.

No but at the press conference some dimwit reporter asked what the bodies look like and if crabs had gotten to them...the Coast Guard Captain or Admiral at the press conference call the reporter out on that ghoulus question.
Believe me when I say there are a lot of responders who don’t eat crab. If you’ve ever recovered a body at sea it has usually been gone over pretty good by either the crabs or Lobsters, and the shrimp.
Back in the old days up in the north east, the locals would tie stout ropes to dead horses and throw them in the water, haul them up a couple of days later and it was Lobsters for dinner.
Hung is his last name, Cao is his first name. Those who are on a first name basis with the cellist Yoyo Ma, call him Ma.
As for Hung Cao, personally, I would call him Captain. He earned it.

I know all that, he’s a guy that is a political star and has done great things, if you can’t have a little humor once in a while, all the negative things about what’s happening in the country right now will get to you.

I think it might. People like celebrity, and his story puts him close to a celebrity. And other people like macho, and his story definitely screams macho.
