Much has already been written about Tuesday night’s debate between the two Vice Presidential hopefuls. Tim Walz has had a long love affair with China. Below I will address his attempt to excuse his lie during the debate about being in China during the Tiananmen Square “protests.” Not only did he try to minimize the lie, but he attempted to pass off the murder of innocents as “democracy protests,” without mentioning that his Chinese friends used tanks to massacre innocent, non-violent protesters so that others would get the message.

Is this similar to Ilhan Omar's "Some people did something"?
Both statements wilfully discount evil on an epic scale.
And Hillary ducked...
And then there’s a take off on Old Joe Stalin: the death of an illegal alien child is a tragedy; the deaths of 300,000 illegal alien children is a statistic.
Funny, he has been “misspeaking” for years.
Silly, but very dangerous knucklehead! Manchurian knuckleheads are the worst!
He should try the line my daughter used when she was little.
*My mouth made a mistake.*
What I see is a pattern.
The guy doesnt seem to be able to talk about what he has done in life without trying to “punch it up.”
24 years in the National Guard is respectable. Talking about stuff you I didn’t do is just stupid. And easy to discover.
Having relationships with people overseas is fine. It’s nice to get a different perspective or speak their language. Suggesting you were there when one of the most significant events in the past 50 years happened is just stupid.
I knew some people like this and its as if they could not think they could be proud of their life accomplishments as they were. And the embellishments did not make them more impressive. In the end, you just didn’t find them believeable.
If saying “I misspoke” is all it takes, Trump should start saying the same thing about his “30,000 lies.” Then all would be forgiven. /s
And he repeated the lie at the end after admitting when pressed he misspoke was a knucklehead.
The last thing said was I was there during the democracy protests, which is false given he went in August and the massacre was June 4.
Compulsive liar.
It’s a pattern with democrats. Remember Al Gore ‘took the initiative when he created the internet’? I could go on and on with lots of other examples but you get the idea... Dems lie and pump themselves up even when there’s absolutely no reason to. It’s a pathological thing caused by their innate inferiority complex. It’s such a part of them to embellish and lie that they don’t even realize they’re doing it.
How do you recognize a pathological liar? Consistent lying and making up stories are the primary signs of pathological lying. Typical pathological liar signs in young adults include:
Embellishing lies with extensive details
Telling dramatic and highly unlikely stories
Appearing anxious while talking
Getting defensive when confronted about a lie
Constantly changing their story or being vague when questioned
Lying about something even when there’s no reason to
Seeming unconcerned with being caught in a lie
Feeling a “high” when they get away with lying
Passing off a story someone else told as their own
Acting in ways that don’t match their words
Tim, the correct way to say you lied isn’t I “misspoke”
You should alwayssay I didn’t lie, I simply said something different from the truth.”
I caught this, too.
Walz was talking about how JD Vance used the first minute of his first question to give a brief bio of himself. I think Walz was saying that he's going to do that now as his way of deflecting the "lies" questions.
MB: Governor, just to follow up on that, the question was, can you explain the discrepancy?
TW: No. All I said on this was, is, I got there that summer and misspoke on this, so I will just, that's what I've said. So, I was in Hong Kong and China during the democracy protest, went in, and from that, I learned a lot of what needed to be in governance.
The amazing thing is that Walz repeated the lie IN THE ANSWER that was intended to explain the lie. He wasn't in China "during the protest," he went to China after the protests subsided. He lied again in the answer explaining why he lied.

In the wake of the Tiananmen Square Massacre, civilized people around the world were appalled. I can’t find hard data, but it is my recollection that travel to, and cultural exchanges with, China plumetted for quite a while, to avoid rewarding the regime’s brutality.
The CCP leadership declared that they had quelled a counter-revolutionary riot stirred up by foreign devils; they had no remorse and handed out medals to the killers. They wanted the world to forget or close their eyes and get back to business as usual.
If Tim Walz went to China only a month or so after the Tiananmen Massacre, he served as an icebreaker, encouraging others to come too, giving the Chinese Communist Party and government exactly what it wanted.
Being in China or even HK on June 4, 1989 lets Walz associate himself with supporting freedom and democracy. Working in China so soon after the massacre amounted to supporting the regime AGAINST freedom and democracy.
Did Walz lie about the date he was in China to hide this?
This, plus Tampon Tim’s wife admitting she got off on the smell of burning tires during the Floyd riots tells us all we need to know about his character. Not to mention his “misstatement” about being friends with school shooters. Definitely a Freudian slip
Misspoke = I’ve been fact checked and now exposed as a liar/public didn’t buy what I said.
Guess he mis-remembers mis-speaking for how many years now? Hey timaaaaaay, as you showed a voter that disgreed with you last week......🖕
