A former French teacher who was fired for refusing to use a transgender student’s “preferred pronouns” has won a massive settlement after the Virginia school board was ordered to pay him $500,000 in damages.
In 2018, Peter Vlamingiled a lawsuit against the district after he was fired.
The lawsuit argued that Vlaming’s termination violated his religious beliefs.

In my opinion, it shouldn’t even have to be based on religious protections to win that suit.

It’s origins even go back to Obama’s terms. His ascendency marked the beginning of all sorts of bold, Left-wing cultural activism.

While it is imposing on his freedom of religion, it’s also compelled speech. The State has made LGBT their religion and believe they have the right to impose the ideology on teachers and students in public schools. They have no such authority.
LGBT and abortion are pillars of the God-less religion. Just because they claim their is no ‘God’ that is the umbrella to their beliefs doesn’t mean it isn’t an ideology equal to a recognized religion. This is the problem.

Indeed. Jesus will come again on a day much like today. Today is Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets. This feast pictures the rapture the same way the four Spring feasts picture the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, and the coming of the Holy Spirit.
Before the Day of the Lord (i.e. the second coming) there must be the apostasy you mentioned. It will be connected with a great, worldwide persecution of God’s people by the antichrist who also must be revealed (by the abomination of desolation) before the Day of the Lord. See Second Thessalonians 2.
A mark of this great apostasy is not just doctrinal error, but “Christians” hating and betraying one another. That’s not so far-fetched. It happened in the Reformation era when Catholics persecuted Protestants, and Protestants persecuted Catholics and other Protestants. Judging by the heated debates that take place on our own religious forum, it does not seem that far away to me, even if most of us agree on major doctrinal issues.
