Thanks for posting. God help us all. I’ll tell you, this has personally been the worst year in memory. Starting with my father’s passing in January everything seems to be going wrong. It’s like I take one step forward and two steps back. Anybody else flipping 2024 the bird?
Losing a family member is always hard, but my wife’s family has had numerous deaths this year, one month three. He mother and one aunt are the only ones left of a family of 11 children, and just last week her mother’s long-time boyfriend unexpectedly just dropped dead...................
It’s pretty much been downhill since 2020.
My sister, uncle, and father-in-law have all passed this year. Last week we had to put our dog down.
2024 sucks.
Sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad in 2020 during covid (he had cancer, not covid) and couldn't even be with him when he died, though I did arrange for Hospice care. Some consolation, Right? :(
