You can see how laws are not followed, and how tiers of justice are determined by whether or not someone is either favored by the State or else an Enemy of the State. We are no longer a republic.
You can see that the voters do not have a role in choosing a candidate, and that the election itself is a flawed process, basically a black box from which a winner is mysteriously announced. We are not even a democracy.
We are an Oligarchy of powerful people — but the most powerful of those people remain in the shadows. We don’t know who they are. Who is running the country today? No one knows and no one is really asking the question.
I see this as an absolute dystopia. Here. Right now.
It is a sacrificial move supported by the notion an election can be won by the media simply manipulating the minds of the voting public. I am even seeing corporate ads pushing “joy” to align with her message.
The problem with this country is the media. I really appreciate what Israel has done to combat their media problem. It should be done here as well.
That’s precisely where we are.
