This isn't actually about "deep fakes."

The term "deceptive" could be construed as including the "omission of pertinent information."

So a statement like "inflation skyrocketed during the Biden/Harris administration" could be vilified as "deceptive" because the speaker failed to mention that part of the rising prices were due, e.g., to Covid, or that the Biden/Harris administration "undertook heroic efforts" to curb inflation.
